Robyn K. Leppert, 70, of Fishertown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at UPMC Bedford, with her family by her side.

Robyn was born November 7, 1955, daughter of the late Robert and Arleen (Gordon) Hollingshead. She is preceded in death along with her parents by sister- Beth, and her in laws- Roy and Betty Leppert.

Robyn is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dennis Leppert, of Fishertown; son- Colby (Nicole) Leppert; granddaughter- Abigail Leppert; grandsons: Troy, Trent, and Trey Logan; sister- Susan (John) Sharp; sisters-in-law: Beth (John) Gowaty, Marlyn (Hammer) Krug, Bonnie (Randy) Kaiser; brother-in-law- Boyd Leppert and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robyn worked as an aide at the New Paris Elementary School with special needs children. She also worked as a bartender at the Elks in Bedford. Robyn was also a dedicated trucker's wife even serving as the secretary of the Central PA Trucker's Association.

The Civil War held a special place in Robyn's heart as she was apart of the 105th PVI Reenacting Group. She greatly enjoyed reenacting with her husband and son for many years; she loved it so much that Dennis and Robyn renewed their wedding vows on their 30th wedding anniversary with a Civil War Themed renewal.

Robyn was a member of the Point Fellowship Church. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family. Although she wore many titles throughout her life, her favorite title was Mom and Grammy.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg, with Pastor Darrell Cashdollar officiating.

Interment will be held at Horne Church Cemetery, Alum Bank.

Thomas “Tom” R. Davidson, 81, of Briar Valley Road, Bedford, died Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Windber Hospice facility in Windber, PA.

He was born in Bedford County on May 29, 1945, son of the late Thomas C. Davidson and Betty (Whetstone) Logue.

Preceded in death by parents Thomas C. Davidson, Betty (Whetstone) Davidson-Logue and stepfather- Frank Logue; infant brother Francis Davidson and Kenneth Patrick (Pat) Davidson; brother-in-law- Gerald “Perk” Wakefield and sister-in-law- Carolee (Hall) Davidson.

On April 24, 1965, he married Carolyn (Joy) McClintock. She survives along with two children; Lisa Sickles, of Pittsburgh and Thomas M. Davidson and wife Michele, of Bedford; siblings: Ed Davidson husband of Dora (Shomo), of Buffalo Mills; Janet L. Wakefield, of Friends Cove; four grandchildren: Ryan and Brandon Sickles and Leah and Luke Davidson.

Tom graduated from Bedford High School, class of 1963 and was actively involved in planning and organizing class reunions. He was the Treasurer and founding member of the B&W Gun Club and the Treasurer of the Industrial Golf League of the Bedford Elks as well as being a Lifetime Elks member.

He worked locally as a barber. He moved to Lawrenceville, PA to work at Ingersol Rand. When he returned to Bedford he worked at Dawson’s Hotel until purchasing the business in 1978 where he worked until retirement in 2011.

He was an absolute character known for his sense of humor and a heart of gold. Enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Especially getting together and spending time with the Old Dawgs, Players and Playmates. Tom was a history buff, who loved playing golf and hunting.

Tom was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State wrestling, Golf, NASCAR racing-Dale Earnhardt fan. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren at their sporting events and radio or live broadcasts when he couldn’t attend. He was like a sports encyclopedia as he could remember stats and historical outcomes of games. He was inducted into the Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame for the 1961-1962 Bedford Wrestling Squad. He enjoyed local dirt track racing and was the originator of the “3rd Turn Racing Club” at the Bedford Speedway and had the first elevated grandstand on the backstretch aka the “Eye in the Sky”. He dearly loved his 1967 Chevelle SS 396 and enjoyed participating in the annual Bedford Fall Foliage Antique Car parade.

The family would like to thank the staff of Windber Hospice for their loving care towards Thomas.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3-6 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford; a memorial service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor David Weinhold officiating.

Judith Ann Williams, 76, of Colerain Twp., Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Pennknoll Village surround by her family.

Judith was born in Mars on April 2, 1950, daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Jones) Leslie.

On June 10, 1979, she married her husband Norman L. Williams, of Colerain Twp.

She is survived by two sons- Shawn Williams, and Jeremy Williams, both of Colerain Twp.; two sisters: Linda Hayes and Barbara Moore. Judith is preceded in death by siblings: Mary Lou Hutchinson, Carol Green, Donna Gohlke, and Robert Williams.

Judith was a member of St. Johns Reformed Church in Bedford. She worked at the Bedford Area School District as a Special Education Teacher for 32 years before retiring. Judith was inducted into the Special Olympics Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame in 2019.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 9-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

Fay L. Diehl, 99, of Manns Choice, Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin.

Fay was born in Juniata Twp. on March 30, 1927, daughter of the late Rolla and Effie (Deaner) Hillegass.

On June 12, 1952, she married her husband Alvie F. Diehl, who preceded her in death on February 16, 2004.

She is survived by son- Allan husband of Christina (Walker) Diehl, of Manns Choice; son- Kenneth husband of Patty (Machol) Diehl, of Hockley, TX; eight grandchildren: Starla, Barry, Lindsay, Christy, Tammy, Kirsten, Jacob, Adam, four great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law- Sally. Fay is preceded in death along with her parents, husband, son- Ronald Holler, and sister- Irene Mowry Gore.

Fay was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Dry Ridge. She was a cook at the Manns Choice Elementary School.

A viewing will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 5-8 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg and on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 1-2 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ, Manns Choice.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ with Jay Shaffer officiating.

Interment will be at Dry Ridge Cemetery, Manns Choice, PA.

Barbara A. Ensley, 81, of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Homewood at Martinsburg, Martinsburg, Pennsylvania following a brief illness.

Barb was born in on June 19, 1944, daughter of the late Homer and Verda (Callihan) Moore.

On October 14, 1967, she married her husband Ronald L. Ensley in Imler, Pennsylvania. Their enduring love story continued for decades, only coming to an end on August 12, 2024 when Ron passed away.

Barb worked for numerous years at various local businesses, including Doctor Paul Hammaker, DMD in Roaring Spring and Doctors Jeffiries and Kurtz, DMD in Martinsburg. Later, she assisted Ron with his auctioneering business until they both fully retired.

Barb had a wonderful smile, which she shared with all of those who came into contact with her. She enjoyed spending time with extended family members and others within the community at Homewood. Both she and Ron volunteered their time to aid others at Homewood. After Ron's passing she was often the driver for others in the community to make short visits and shopping trips.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 10-11 AM at the Homewood Chapel, Martinsburg.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11 AM at the Homewood Chapel, Martinsburg, with Reverend Jerry McCuller officiating.

Interment will be at Hull Cemetery, New Paris, PA.

Ruby Darlene Brown, 78, of New Paris, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 5, 2026 at her home in New Paris.

Ruby was born in Windber on September 11, 1947, daughter of the late Ernest and Helen (Davis) Allison.

On February 26, 1967, she married her husband Ronald M. Brown, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2017.

She is survived by son- Ryan husband of Brenda (Koontz) Brown, of Jacksonville, NC; son- Richard husband of Shannan (Hoover) Brown, of Alum Bank; five grandchildren: Kaiden, Kaileb, Kaisen, Colton and Kaylea; and two great-grandchildren: Scarlett and Thornton; along with siblings: Darla Allison, of Alum Bank; and Leland "Lynn" husband of Tina Allison of New Paris.

Ruby was a member of the Ryot Church of the Nazarene in Alum Bank. She was a life member of the Chestnut Ridge Ambulance where she was an EMT, past President and past Board Member. Ruby worked at Kennametal as a Brazer.

A viewing will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Ryot Church of the Nazarene, and on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10-11 AM at the Ryot Church of the Nazarene.

Timothy Charles Flanigan

Timothy Charles Flanigan, 81, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital from complications after heart surgery. Tim was a life-long disciple of Christ.

Tim was born April 10, 1945 in Somerset, PA, son of the late Charles J. Flanigan and Dolores M. (Engle) Flanigan and was a 1963 graduate of Jenners Boswell Joint High School in Boswell, PA. He was a Vietnam era veteran serving in the Third Infantry from 1965-1967. He was a 1964 graduate of the General Motors Training School in Fairfax, VA., was nationally certified in all facets of automotive repair, working in the industry 22 years. His Pennsylvania Game Commission career began in 1975 upon entering the Ross Leffler School of Conservation. He served as a Wildlife Conservation Officer in Westmoreland County, then Bedford County since 1978, retiring after 30 years in 2005. During his career he was the recipient of numerous awards including one for saving a man's life.

Tim was an award-winning photographer and outdoor writer and an active member, past president and life member of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Assoc. and a member of the Mason-Dixon Outdoor Writers Assoc. He was a seminar speaker and published in numerous magazines, calendars, and was the author of 3 books. His business Nature Exposure began in 1987, exhibiting his photography prints at numerous multi-state venues. He was also a member of the Bedford American Legion Post 113 and various sportsmen's clubs. Tim enjoyed years of photography, travel, camping and hunting behind his beloved Brittany's.

On September 5, 1987 he married Deborah E. (Boggs) Flanigan in Cumberland, MD. His death prematurely ends a devoted partnership. Tim is also survived by his sister Sherry (Engle) Blough (Carl) of St. Louis, MO, father-in-law Gary Boggs (Janet, deceased), and brother-in-law, Steven Boggs (Debbie) of Williamsport, MD, along with a niece, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Wilda was born in Chaneysville, PA. on June 30, 1937 and passed peacefully at UPMC Altoona on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by family, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Harold Eugene Knisely, who she married on October 11, 1959; father, Lester V. Iames; mother, Ora Mae Bennett Iames; brother, Alton Iames and wife, Jeane; sister, Norma Iames Kifer and husband, Owen; brother-in-law, L. Dean Knisely; son-in-law, Bradley Wise; and nephews, V. Doc Kifer, Michael Kifer, & Randall Iames.

Wilda is survived by two loving daughters, Cynthia Jo Knisely Wise, of Bedford; & Pamela Sue Knisely Jones wife of Jason, of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Eric Wise husband of Tara; Meghan Wise Bardell wife of Sean; Graden Jones, Cullen Jones; four great-grandchildren: Jenna Wise, Reghan Wise, Easton Bardell, and Athena Bardell. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, neighbors & friends, and thoroughly enjoyed phone calls from all of them. She will also be sorely missed by nephews & nieces, Ed and Barb Iames, Dean and Joyce Kifer, & Nancy and Ron Smith.

Wilda was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1955, worked at G.C. Murphy Co. in Everett and was a telephone operator for several years, but best of all, she was Mom, Mama, Mamaw, Memaw, and Aunt Wilda; she answered to it all and she raised more "children" than anyone could ever imagine in her incredible life. She was the matriarch of the family and the strongest and hardest working woman on earth. Wilda loved her family above all. She loved spending holidays with everyone, playing Canasta, cooking, taking care of her kitties, mowing her yard, and sitting under her tree on her swing for hours. She enjoyed going on walks behind her house that she and her husband built with their family, and walking "Down Home on the Farm," where she was raised.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Geisel-Styer Funeral Home in Bedford, PA from 10am-12pm with a funeral service at 12 PM. Burial to follow at Prosperity Church Cemetery in Clearville, PA.

Patricia L. (Layton) McDannell, 77, of Osterburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Bedford Post Acute, Bedford.

Patricia was born February 24, 1949, daughter of the late Harry and Melvie (Hillegass) Layton.

She is survived by three daughters: Bobbi McDannell, of New Paris; Billi Foor, of Buffalo Mills; Kathy McDannell, of New Paris; four grandchildren: Josi and Jami Shomo, Dakota McDannell, Megan Foor; and four great-grandchildren: Maci, Maddox, Jensen, Jamison and a brother- David Layton. Patricia is preceded in death by siblings: Franklin Harry Layton, Glenn Layton, Steven Layton, Ethel White, Sylvia J. Grubb and son-in-law- Joe C. Foor Jr.

She worked at Clites Rest home and at Ed's Steakhouse for numerous years. Patricia enjoyed flowers, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11 AM at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, with Jim Miller officiating.

Larry R. Robeson, 82, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at his home with his wife by his side.

Larry was born in Martinsburg, PA. on January 11, 1944, son of the late James R. and Betty (Wyles) Robeson.

On August 3, 1990, he married Lynn (Wilson) Robeson, of Bedford.

He is survived by son-Jeff husband of Shellie (Parker) Robeson; daughter- Jennifer Robeson; three grandsons: Chase, Conner, and Colby, all of High Springs, FL; sister- Janet (Robeson) Thomas, of Martinsburg; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and special friend- Sam Dean, of Martinsburg. Larry was very proud of all of his family in High Springs, Florida, and their life accomplishments. Larry is preceded in death by sister- Carol (Robeson) Ake.

He graduated in the first class from Central High School in 1961. Larry had very fond memories of growing up in Henrietta, life in the Cove and the fun times spent in Huntingdon County. Larry served his country in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967. He enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, and searching for Blair and Bedford County memorabilia and books. He was a life member at the Standing Stone VFW Post 1754 in Huntington and the Bedford American Legion Post 113. Larry had an excellent wit and sense of humor that could always make you smile.

At the request of the family services will be private.

Lynn would like to thank family and friends for their prayers and support throughout Larry's two- and half-year battle with glioblastoma. She would also like to thank the staff of Pennwood Family Medicine, especially P*P Renee, the staff of Van Zandt V.A.M.C, Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Home Health and Family Hospice for their care, support and prayers.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Larry R. Robeson to the Bedford County Humane Society to 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA. 1552 or to the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park at 201 S. Walnut St. Martinsburg, PA. 16662.
