Job description
We are looking for compassionate CNAs, PCAs, or Home Health Aides to provide care assistance with daily living and personal care services in accordance with an established care plan.

Acti-Kare, the premier provider of senior and home care services, is currently seeking experienced caregivers to assist adult clients in their home.

Duties include: • Personal Care, Companion, Assistance with ADLs and IADLs, and transportation

Qualifications: • PCA/CNA/HHA certification, at least two years of experience • Valid Virginia driver's license • Must enjoy working with seniors • Must be able to pass required background checks • Flexible hours- part-time to ful- time opportunities available

Responsibilities

Provide assistance with ADLs and IADLs
Perform domestic and household tasks
Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital when needed
Medication Reminders
Assist with clients personal care activities
Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
Maintain patients care records and document provided services
Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills

Proven working experience as home health aide, CNA or PCA
Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
Proficiency in English
Caring and compassionate personality
Current CPR certificate
Valid driver’s lience
High school degree
