🌟 June's Success Story at Bedford Hills 🌟

June arrived at Bedford Hills in June 2026 after a hospital stay for a painful, swollen knee that had left her with limited mobility and at risk for falls. It was a scary and uncertain time - but June was ready to fight for her recovery. 💪

Starting out, June relied on her wheelchair for nearly everything. Little by little, with hard work and heart, she began building strength - increasing her transfers in and out of bed, standing for longer periods, and steadily improving her mobility. Today, June has achieved full range of motion, can complete a step, ambulates more than 50 feet, and transfers with only moderate assistance using a device. What incredible progress! 🎉

None of it happened alone. June credits the unwavering love of her husband, the guidance and knowledge of our therapy team, and the compassionate care of our entire Bedford Hills staff for helping her through the emotional and physical challenges of being away from home. In her own words, "the support and care I received played a crucial role in my recovery." 💛

June, we are so proud of the strength and determination you showed every single day. Congratulations on heading home! 🏡✨

🎉🏆 Injury-Free Month at Bedford Hills! 🏆🎉

Safety is a team effort, and our Bedford Hills team proved it this month! 💪 To celebrate a full month without any injuries, we held a raffle to recognize our incredible staff and say thank you for continuing to look out for themselves, their coworkers, and our residents every single day. 🙏

🌱 Growing Together

This garden doesn't tend itself - meet Bob, the dedicated hands behind the flowers, tomatoes, and strawberries popping up all season long, and Paul, one of the many residents who loves to stop by and see how everything's coming along. Rain or shine, this little garden is a big source of joy around here. 🍓🌻

Say hello to Karen's Coffee Cart! ☕ Our HR team at Bedford Hills goes above and beyond to keep our hard-working staff fueled and appreciated, serving up fresh iced coffee and tea (with a cookie on the side, of course) right on the floor. It's the little things that make Bedford Hills feel like family. Thank you, Karen, for always taking care of our team!

🎶 The Jennifer Mitchell Band brought the music to our summer BBQ, and we loved every minute of it. Extra special: one of our own Memory Care residents is the band's biggest fan - her son plays bass and volunteered to perform for our community!

Residents from every unit came out to soak up the sunshine, enjoy great food, and tap their toes to live music. Moments like these are what community is all about. 💙
