Source found shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico, recalled July 17. This is tied to Taco Bell locations in 5 states (IN, KY, MI, OH, WV) and Marketside bagged iceberg salad/shredded lettuce at Walmart (27 states). More sources may still surface. Cases are still climbing MI alone has 7,000+ cases, with 100+ hospitalizations nationally (no deaths).
Quick Refresher: Cyclospora is a parasite spread through contaminated food/water not person to person. Symptoms include watery, often “explosive” diarrhea, loss of appetite, weight loss, cramping, bloating, fatigue.
