In loving memory of Stewart Neal “Stew-Daddy” Hatton, June 29, 1965- August 10, 2026. Stew-Daddy the "tint man" was called home by our Lord and Savior on August 10, 2026. He was surrounded by his family who loved him SOME, until he was taken home gently and peacefully.

Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hatton. Survived by his mother: Wilma Hatton. Survived by his wife: Jessica "Jessie" Hatton. His children: Heather Travieso (Clem), Shannan Hatton, and Ashley Macuga (Kevin). His sister: Michele Sylvester (Pete). His brothers: Todd Hatton (Lisa) and Travis Hatton (Rea). Grandchildren: Alana Travieso and Isaiah Travieso. Also survived by: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and customers.

Stewart was born in Pahokee, FL on June 29, 1965. Growing up he attended many schools, including Pahokee High, Christian Day, and Glades Day to name a few.

Stewart loved sports and excelled in baseball, basketball, softball, and football, he was always so very proud of what one of his coaches wrote in his Christian Day annual, as well as being on the Glades Day football team that won "State" in 1980, he loved his state jacket and was quick to break it out, and Shannan, our daughter, also enjoyed wearing his jacket while she attended Glades Day School, because she felt very special while wearing it.

Stewart had many friends, acquaintances, and customers in the Glades when he began a new business career in 1995, tinting windows, and became the owner and operator of Glades Tinting & Auto Care. He tinted many many vehicles over the years. Stewart also mentored many young men over the course of these years who worked for him and with him, young men who are now hard working men with families, because Stewart instilled an excellent work ethic in them , and some of these same men looked up to him as a father figure .

Stewart will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. He loved his family, and especially he loved his "Girls " beyond measure. He was truly a family man, who enjoyed having his family around him, even if doing absolutely nothing, or going on the annual, beach week vacation, that always ended with the end of vacation selfie. Always supportive, encouraging, had your back, but pulled no punches, and told it like it was, "Say what you mean, and mean what you say " was a rule he lived by, and expected you to do the same. He enjoyed life to the fullest, he especially loved playing Golf.... every chance that he could, as much, and as long as he could, and he loved his golf brothers as well. He could play for hours and come home and talk about the round, or rounds for just as long; giving a play by play shot critique and analysis of the day, but good or bad, any day on the golf course was a beautiful day according to him.

Stewart was so very proud of his family; his "Girls " and his grandbabies, he loved his friends, he loved the small group prayer meetings that brought him closer to God and made him a better husband, father, friend, and man.
Stewart was so very brave, and so very courageous and he did not want to leave us, he firmly told us that, and he fought so extremely hard til the very end, but our Rock was tired. For ALL of this we thank you, for ALL of your love, support, kindness, guidance, hugs, and kisses. We Love you Hunny, Stewart, Dad, Grandpa, Stew-Daddy ....we love you infinitely, forever, and ever, ,ALWAYS, AMEN!!!!!! Until we see you again.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 10-11 with services beginning at 11am at Good Shepherd Church of God in Pahokee. Dale Helvey, Cary McKee and Gerron Ayento will be officiating. 🕊️

On Tuesday, August 11, we said goodbye to our dad, Ralph John Marotta, Jr. (August 28, 1945 - August 11, 2026) after his ten-year journey with Alzheimer’s disease. Although Alzheimer’s gradually changed so much, it could never erase the life he built, the love he gave, or the place he will always hold in our family.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 59 years, Andrea Funderburk Marotta; four daughters, Michelle (Blair), Nikki (Buddy), Lynn (Brian), and Teresa (Mack); six grandchildren, Caleb (Jenna), Breanna (Sean), Camryn, Jack, Kadence, and Liam; and two great-grandchildren Charlotte & Ryder. His life continues through the family he loved and the many memories we will carry with us.

Ralph was known as someone who could fix just about anything. He was always dreaming up a big idea, teaching himself something new, or finding a way to make something work.

Ralph lived his life with family at the center of his world. He believed deeply that nothing was more important than having all of his girls together and knowing they would always care for one another. He was especially proud when friends told him how rich he was because of the wealth of love within his family.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we remember and honor him. 🕊️
