MEET OUR ATHLETIC TRAINERS!

Next in the series is Jaris.

“My name is Jaris Harbieh, I am originally from the Greentree area of Pittsburgh. I earned both my Bachelor’s of Science degree with a pre-athletic training concentration and my Master’s of Science in Athletic Training from the Pennsylvania Western University at the California campus. During my graduate experience, I completed my internship with the university’s women’s basketball team where I gained experience in injury prevention, orthopedic evaluations, concussion testing, physical rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols for collegiate athletes.

During the offseason, I usually find myself on the ice playing hockey, attending a pirates game, or spending leisure time with the family. I also make time for traveling to North Carolina as I admire the OuterBanks and the country side.”

First up is Seth.

“My name is Seth Jurczak, and I am excited to serve as the Athletic Trainer for Penn Highlands Healthcare at California High School. I earned my Master's degree in Athletic Training from PennWest California.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, I worked with the University of Pittsburgh's swimming and diving teams, where I gained valuable experience providing care for collegiate student-athletes and supporting their health, performance, and recovery.
I am excited to become part of the California High School community and work alongside its student-athletes, coaches, and families. My goal is to help athletes stay healthy through injury prevention, provide high-quality care when injuries occur, and guide them through a safe return to play. I am committed to promoting the health, well-being, and overall success of every student-athlete so they can perform at their best both on and off the field.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and spending time outdoors mowing lawns. I look forward to building strong relationships within the California High School community and supporting our athletes throughout the school year.”
