As we prepare for this year's Overdose Awareness event on August 31st, we'd like to create a memorial honoring the lives of those we've lost to overdose.

Behind every overdose statistic is a son or daughter. A mom or dad. A brother, sister, friend, coworker...someone deeply loved and deeply missed.

If you have lost someone to overdose and would like them to be remembered, we invite you to share a favorite photo of your loved one. With your permission, their photo will be included in our memorial display during the event as we pause to remember the lives, the love, and the stories that continue to matter.

If you'd like to participate, please send us:
🧡 A photo of your loved one
🧡 Their name (if you'd like it included)

You can send your photo by emailing [email protected] or by bringing it to Recovery Zone.

Together, we remember. Together, we honor. Together, we remind our community that every life mattered.

Update: Surgery went great! 🙏❤️
_________

Keeping our thoughts and prayers on our own Riley Hackett, peer support driver, as he undergoes pacemaker replacement surgery at 10:30am. This will be Riley’s 10th surgery since he was born.

We also celebrate Riley’s resilience. He has overcome many things including struggles with addiction, being unsheltered, and not having a license until just 3 years ago! He’s been growing as a peer supporter, and young adult, with many supports along his path over the past couple of years right after his life was at its most difficult point.
