What's that sound?

If you've been walking through the halls of Mary Rutan Hospital recently, and overheard a lullaby playing throughout the building, you've been present for a very special moment for an expecting family!

Thanks to our brand-new lullaby system, every time a baby is born in our Mary Rutan Family Birth Center, a familiar lullaby is played throughout our halls! This is our way of welcoming baby to the world and spreading joy to everyone in the Hospital.

Many members of our Family Birth Center team brought this idea to light, as they thought it would be a nice way to spread some happiness to others. What a wonderful idea!

If you happen to be around when our lullaby chimes play, remember to silently wish happy birthday to the new little miracle.

Recently, in recognition of National EMS Week, our own EMS Coordinator, Mandy Gammell, BSN, RN, EMT-P, took the time to visit our local EMS teams to share some gift baskets with them. These were a small token of our appreciation for all that they do for our communities!

From showing up to help others in their most difficult moments, to literally saving lives, we cannot thank these teams enough for all that they do each and every day for our community. Thank you for your expertise, care, and giving hearts that help keep our neighbors, friends, and loved ones healthy and safe!
