Help us give a big shoutout to our own, Brendyn Kinnison, Security Coordinator!

Brendyn was our most recent Cheers for Peers winner, recognized by his peers for his communication and support given during some inclement weather this year.

During a severe weather event a couple of months ago, Brendyn played a critical role in ensuring our off-site clinics remained informed, connected, and prepared. While managing calls from clinics and community members, he remained calm, respectful, and diligent, helping our team access the resources they needed to maintain patient care and safety throughout the event.

After this event, many team members sent in words of thanks through the Cheers for Peers program, giving gratitude to Brendyn for his care and compassion during a stressful time.

Thank you, Brendyn! We appreciate your unwavering commitment to the safety of our team, patients, and community, and are grateful for your positive influence across Mary Rutan Health!

Neil Mast, PA-C, is a provider at Mary Rutan Ear, Nose & Throat. Neil works alongside Dr. Tennyson and Dr. Klapchar to provide expert treatment of ear, nose & throat conditions, from ear aches, to tinnitus, vertigo, swallowing problems, and beyond.

We are proud to recognize our own Renee Kavanagh, Supervisor of Environmental Services, as the recipient of our quarter one Moment of Excellence Award! This award goes to one staff member each quarter who went above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, visitors, or fellow team members.

Renee was caught in the act of doing good when she purchased two stuffed animals from the hospital gift shop for a young girl and her brother who were overwhelmed by the Hospital environment. What could have remained a chaotic and emotional experience quickly became a moment of compassion and support because of Renee's thoughtful actions.

Renee, we are endlessly thankful for your outstanding compassion, leadership, and commitment to spreading positivity. Your actions embody the heart of Mary Rutan Health. Thank you!
