Even the owner ebbs and flows.
Lately, I’ve felt a little out of touch with my own yoga practice. The thing that has always felt like the easiest way to move, release, and come back to myself has felt… hard.
Maybe it’s the busyness. Maybe it’s life. Maybe it’s just the weight of this particular season. Whatever it is, I’m feeling it.
And honestly, it’s given me a deeper understanding of why this practice can feel so difficult for people.
Yoga isn’t easy. And maybe that’s the point.
In the midst of workouts, running a business, raising a family, and moving through all the things life brings, I know I need to keep coming back to my mat.
Not because I need to do it perfectly.
But because I need the stillness.
I need the breath.
I need the reminder to be present.
And maybe that’s exactly why it’s called a practice.
We don’t master it once and move on. We return to it. Again and again. We retune. We reconnect. We begin where we are.
So maybe you’ve been away from your mat for a while.
Or maybe you’ve never stepped onto one at all.
Either way, you’re not behind. You don’t have to be flexible. You don’t have to know what you’re doing. You just have to be willing to begin.
Roll your mat out next to mine. Let’s find our way back to presence together. 🤍
