The Monthly Hag
What small inner voice have we been ignoring for too long? The Moon reversed tells us that we have been avoiding being honest with ourselves and others about our needs; either from the misunderstanding of what those needs actually are or from an unwillingness to address them. This unwillingness to confront our needs could be because we know that process is likely to be difficult if not also incredibly painful.
Now is the time for inner reflection as we seek clarity on situations and needs we have been avoiding. The help of a license therapist may even be needed in this time to help navigate the issues fully and successfully. It is time to do the inner work so that we can shine a light on the dark side of the Moon.
Our Cups Run Over
Today marks our 5th anniversary…wow that’s hard to believe. If you had told me 5 to 6 years ago that we would have the shop up and running, let alone hitting our fifth anniversary, I would have probably rolled my eyes at you. Not because I didn’t have faith in us but because we were opening a business in the middle of a recession and in good economic times about 50% of new businesses do not stay open this long.
The shop has grown so much that looking back at opening day images it looks like we had NOTHING on the shelves, stock from day 1 to now is up about 600%. We started with 3 services and now have a whole menu. This Newsletter is now 3 years old and has grown from around 100 subscribers to almost 700. Finally, we have The Conclave Podcast which is now more than halfway through our 2nd season.
So how did we do it? You! We knew the market had a need, but what we didn’t fully know was how many truly amazing people we would meet. The support we receive and the friendships we have gained mean so much to us and will last a lifetime. I say it all that time our community is the best around! So, what’s next? Maybe we will branch out more into social media, maybe we will have new classes and services, maybe we will need a publisher…I don’t know. What I do know is nothing more will be possible without each and every one of you. Thank you for 5 great years and here’s to 5 more!
