You ask a question. Your child pauses. Do you wait, repeat it, or ask another?

That silence may be thinking time. Understanding a question, finding the right words, and organizing an answer can take a little longer for some children. Adding more questions may make that process harder.

Our newest blog explores how a simple pause, clearer questions, and supportive choices can make conversations feel easier.
