A Touch of Red

In October of in 2011, I was certified as an Ashiatsu Specialist and this was my first promo photo. I worked in a spa in Kirkland that is no longer there. I wore a red sash when I did Ashiatsu, but I found it too limiting. Now I just keep red in my hair and I can change outfits as needed!

That spa may be gone, but 15 years later I am still doing Ashiatsu!

I so enjoyed the scenery at Two Mountain Winery in Zillah, WA
The winery is surrounded by vineyards and graced with mountains on the horizon. Thank You Two Mountain Winery, for letting me set up my table and live my dream of doing massage outside in a beautiful setting! Also I really enjoyed the after-massage Chardonnay 😁

So fun to work in the sunshine - wish I could do that more often!

A candid snap of me demoing barefoot massage using bamboo poles at the Washington Spa Academy on Aug 27, 2025. I have not taught a class since 2019 and I had a great time teaching again and the students really put their best foot forward, lol. The class covered many different barefoot modalities and featured methods that do not need an overhead bar setup.
