😴 Running on empty? You're not alone.

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to feel like we're always "on." Between work, family, responsibilities, and the constant pressure to keep going, many of us feel worn down.

In this video, Emily talks about adaptogenic herbs—plants that have been traditionally used to help the body adapt to stress and support overall resilience. She discusses favorites like Licorice Root, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Siberian Ginseng, and Ginseng, while also sharing an important reminder...

🌿 Herbs can be wonderful allies, but they aren't a substitute for rest. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down, take care of ourselves, and allow our bodies the time they need to recover.

Which adaptogens have you worked with? We'd love to hear your experience in the comments!

🌼 If there was one herbal product Emily recommends every home keep on hand... this might be it.

In this reel, Emily shares why she formulated our Pure Certified Organic Calendula Salve to be simple, clean, and incredibly effective. Made with just four certified organic ingredients—our own Pacific Northwest-grown Calendula infused oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, and Coconut Oil—it's a customer favorite for a reason.

Traditionally, Calendula has been treasured for its skin-soothing and wound-supportive properties. Emily uses it herself for:

🌿 Cuts, scrapes, and minor abrasions
🌿 Sunburns and bug bites
🌿 Dry, rough, or irritated skin
🌿 Baby's delicate skin
🌿 Eczema-prone skin
🌿 Everyday first aid

As Emily says, we affectionately call it our "good for everything" salve—because it's the product we reach for again and again.

Watch the reel to hear why it's one of Emily's all-time favorite herbal creations.

🌱 Herb Question of the Day 🌱

If you could have one herbal remedy growing right outside your door... what would it be?

🌼 Chamomile?
🌿 Peppermint?
💜 Lavender?
🌱 Echinacea?
🍃 Lemon Balm?
🌹 Or something else?

One of my favorite parts of herbalism is that every plant has its own story, personality, and traditional uses. Learning about herbs is a lifelong adventure, and I'm so grateful to share that journey with all of you.

Tell me your pick in the comments—and if you already grow herbs at home, I'd love to hear what's thriving in your garden this summer! 🌿💚

What brings you peace? As the weekend winds down, I hope you've had a chance to slow down, spend a little time outside, and reconnect with the things that matter most.

One of my favorite things about herbs is that they invite us to do exactly that. Brewing a cup of tea. Walking through the garden. Learning the name of a new plant. Taking a deep breath.

Herbalism isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about taking small moments to care for yourself, one day at a time.

🌿 What's one small thing you do to recharge?

A cup of tea? A walk? Reading? Gardening? Time with family? Tell me in the comments. I always love hearing what brings you peace.

Wishing you a restful Sunday evening and a wonderful week ahead.

3 Reasons We Love Echinacea 🥰

Echinacea has been treasured for generations ... and it's easy to see why.

💜 1. Traditional Immune Support
Echinacea has long been used in traditional herbal practices to support the body's natural immune defenses, especially during seasonal wellness challenges. Many people reach for it at the very first sign of a cold.

🌿 2. A Rich Herbal History
Native American communities valued Echinacea for a wide variety of traditional uses, and later it became one of the most respected herbs in early American herbal medicine. Today, it's still one of the best-known herbs for seasonal wellness.

🌼 3. It's Simply Beautiful
Beyond its traditional uses, Echinacea is one of the most stunning flowers in the garden. We love seeing these vibrant blooms growing each summer. They're as beautiful as they are beloved.

Do you keep Echinacea in your herbal cabinet? We'd love to hear how you enjoy it!

What's one herb you've always wanted to learn more about? 🌱

One of my favorite parts of running Em's Herbals is spending time with our local growers ... walking through the fields, talking about plants, and seeing herbs where they naturally thrive. Every visit teaches me something new.

Now I'd love to hear from you...

What's one herb you've always wanted to learn more about?

Leave your answer in the comments. I may feature some of your suggestions in future videos and educational posts!

🌿 Plant Spotlight: Devil's Club

One of my favorite parts of herbalism is getting to know the plants themselves. Isn't Devil's Club beautiful? These photos weretaken while admiring this remarkable plant growing in its natural habitat.

We also carry USA Wild Harvested Devil's Club Bark, a treasured herb that has been traditionally used to support joint comfort, mobility, healthy digestion, and the body's natural inflammatory response.

I love that our Devil's Club is responsibly wild harvested here in the United States. Thoughtful sourcing matters, and it's one of the many ways we honor both the plants and the people who use them.
