🌿 Sometimes one little bottle can change the direction of your life.

Long before Em’s Herbals existed, Emily was a 20-year-old waitress with a sore throat, no health insurance, and not much money. A coworker handed her a small bottle of Osha Root tincture and introduced her to something she'd never experienced before: the idea that plants could be medicine.

That experience opened a door for Emily—and ultimately helped set her on the path to herbalism. ❤️

In this reel, Emily shares that story, talks about her connection to Osha Root, and shares a few of her traditional herbal go-to's for sore throats, including Osha Root, Marshmallow Root, and Licorice Root.

🍂 As summer begins to give way to fall, we’re feeling especially grateful for the season of abundance. 🌿

This time of year is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do — working with local growers, watching herbs come in fresh from the field, and turning those vibrant plants into carefully crafted herbal products.

At Em’s Herbals, we love connecting people with plants that are grown close to home. There’s something pretty special about knowing where an herb came from, who grew it, and being able to work with it while it’s still fresh and full of life.
