๐Ÿ’š June is PTSD Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’š

This June, the Bellingham Senior Center joins communities across the country in recognizing PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) Awareness Month. PTSD can affect anyone who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event, including veterans, first responders, survivors of accidents, illness, loss, and other life-changing experiences.

๐Ÿง  Raising awareness helps reduce stigma, encourages understanding, and reminds those who may be struggling that support is available.

๐Ÿ’š A simple act of kindness, a listening ear, or a supportive conversation can make a meaningful difference in someoneโ€™s life.

At the Bellingham Senior Center, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and compassionate community where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported.

Together, we can promote awareness, understanding, and hope.๐Ÿ’šโœจ
