🇺🇸 Remembering September 11th 🇺🇸

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that remains deeply etched in our hearts and in the history of our nation.

At the Bellingham Senior Center, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders who put others before themselves. We also remember how, in the days that followed, our country came together with compassion, kindness, and a renewed appreciation for one another. ❤️🤍💙

May we continue to honor those memories by caring for our neighbors, supporting one another, and never forgetting the importance of community.

On the eve of September 11th, we extend our appreciation to Jim Hastings for lowering the American flag at the Bellingham Senior Center this evening in solemn remembrance of those who lost their lives and the families whose lives were forever changed. 🇺🇸
