ServiceMaster Daily, Issue 1: THE 12TH-FLOOR PROBLEM
You can't open a window on the 12th floor. That's the whole challenge of high-rise carpet cleaning in one sentence.
Sealed hallways mean no circulation, so every odor the carpet has been holding comes right back up. And with no airflow, a conventionally cleaned corridor can stay damp for 12+ hours — while hundreds of residents keep walking across it to the elevator.
Our answer: control the moisture from the start. Enzyme pre-treatment that breaks odor down at the source, high-recovery extraction so the carpet never gets soaked, and air movers staged down every hallway so the building gets the airflow it doesn't have. Floors cleaned top-down in sections, dry in 1–2 hours, no corridor ever fully closed.
