If you’ve ever thought, “If I could just get them to sit still for five minutes…” you’re definitely not the only one.
The truth is, toddlers aren’t wired to learn best by sitting quietly.
They learn while they’re moving, climbing, dancing, carrying, rolling, jumping, and playing. Movement isn’t getting in the way of learning…it often is the learning.
So instead of fighting the wiggles, try bringing language into whatever they’re already doing. That’s where some of the best communication happens.
