As summer comes to a close, we're reflecting on the many joyful moments shared in our Nexus community. One of our favorite summer traditions has been our Sunday walks to nearby Twin Pines Park for Music in the Park. With fresh air, live music, laughter, dancing and wonderful connections, these afternoons have given us memories to cherish. We're grateful for the beauty right outside our door and, most of all, for the friendships and community we share along the way. Here's to carrying on that summer joy as we welcome fall!

What a magical afternoon at Silverado Belmont Hills!

Our Arabian Nights celebration was truly one to remember! Residents, families, and team members were transported to an enchanting evening filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Middle East.

From the authentic, delicious cuisine to the mesmerizing performance by our talented belly dancer, every detail created an unforgettable experience. The music, laughter, colorful décor, and joyful smiles made it feel like we had stepped into the pages of One Thousand and One Nights.

Moments like these remind us that life is meant to be celebrated at every age. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special. We are grateful to create experiences that bring our community together and fill our hearts with joy.

What an amazing start to Kids Camp!

Day One was filled with fun, laughter, and adventure! Our campers and residents spent the day getting to know one another through music, creativity, and imagination. There was lots of singing, colorful art projects, and plenty of smiles as everyone worked together to kick off our Music & Theater Camp.

The joy of bringing generations together is truly something special. We can’t wait to see what adventures Day Two brings as we continue preparing for our big performance!

Intergenerational Joy at Silverado!

One of the many wonderful things about being part of the Silverado family is the opportunity for our employees to bring their children to work.

There is something truly special about watching our residents light up when children are in the community. The laughter, smiles, hugs, and sweet conversations bring so much happiness to everyone.

This is intergenerational happiness at its very best!

A new chapter begins at Silverado.

This month, we proudly welcomed Wayne Sanner as our new Chief Executive Officer and President, as our founder, Loren Shook, stepped into the role of Executive Chairman and Founder.

For nearly 30 years, Loren led Silverado with one guiding belief: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, purpose, and love. That belief became who we are.

That legacy now moves forward. Wayne brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership and the same commitment to the people at the heart of everything we do.

Join us in celebrating Loren's incredible impact, and in welcoming Wayne to this next era. The future is bright and together, we'll keep changing lives with purpose, compassion, and excellence.

Goat Yoga at Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay! Silverado Nexus residents enjoyed the best of all worlds. Goats to bring us smiles, yoga for our mindfulness and well-being, followed by a tasty lunch to share our thoughts and recap the joy of our experience!

¡Olé! Our residents had an incredible time traveling to Spain without ever leaving Silverado Belmont Hills! Through music, history, beautiful photos, delicious treats, and lively conversation, we explored the rich culture and traditions of this amazing country.

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of stories shared as everyone learned about famous landmarks, Spanish customs, and what makes Spain such a special place. Programs like Travel Club spark curiosity, encourage social connection, and create meaningful moments while allowing our residents to continue exploring the world together.

We can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us!
