October is National Physical Therapy Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without recognizing our incredible therapy team!

We truly believe we have the BEST group around! Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are also some of the best coworkers anyone could ask for. They are always willing to lend a helping hand, step up wherever needed, and go above and beyond for our residents.

Their dedication goes far beyond therapy sessions. They build relationships, celebrate every accomplishment (big or small!), encourage our residents on the hard days, and make such a difference in their lives.

We are so fortunate to have a team that genuinely cares about our residents, their coworkers, and Rockland as a whole. We appreciate them more than they know! ❤️

A little behind-the-scenes look at how all of our Halloween magic came together! 🎃

Believe it or not, we started working on decorations back in JULY! So much time, creativity, and teamwork went into transforming Rockland, and our residents were a huge part of it all!

A special thank you to our residents for all their hard work and helping hands! We had so much fun bringing everyone’s ideas to life, and making these memories together was just as special as the finished product! ❤️

🎃 Don’t forget! Rockland Ridge’s annual Trick-or-Treat is TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 14th, from 5–7 PM!

We’ve been keeping a few things under wraps, but with the big day almost here, we figured it was finally time to give everyone a little sneak peek at what we’ve been up to! 👀

Our building has undergone quite the transformation, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it! So, who better to show you around than our residents themselves?!

A special thank you to Chelsea Poole and the Meigs County District Public Library for their generous donation of books! 📚❤️

Our residents were so excited to see all the books and had the best time looking through the selection! The excitement was contagious, and you would have thought it was Christmas morning!

We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness and for community partners who continue to show such kindness to our residents. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our bookshelves are now completely full! While we aren’t able to accept any additional book donations at this time, we truly appreciate everyone who thinks of our residents and helps us continue to share the joy of reading.

This week, we’re celebrating National Food Service Week and the incredible dietary team here at Rockland Ridge!

Our dietary staff does so much more than prepare and serve meals. They work hard behind the scenes every single day, making sure our residents are well-fed, their individual needs are met, and they have meals they can look forward to. Their hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to our residents never go unnoticed!

To show a little appreciation, we treated the team to lunch and surprised them with T-shirts and personalized toiletry bags filled with goodies. A little something just for them, because they spend so much of their time taking care of everyone else!

We are so fortunate to have such a hardworking and caring dietary team. They are such an important part of what makes Rockland Ridge feel like home, and we appreciate everything they do! ❤️

Last week, we had our final visit of the season from Mister Softee! 🍦

Our residents have loved these sweet visits throughout the summer, and we’re already looking forward to hearing that familiar ice cream truck music again next year!

Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month, Morgan Bartmess! 🎉

Morgan is our amazing Dietitian, and we are so lucky to have her on the Rockland team! 💙 She is someone who is always thinking two steps ahead and anticipating what needs to be done. She is thoughtful and meticulous in everything she does. She is always willing to step in, lend a helping hand, and do whatever she can to support those around her.

One of the things that makes Morgan so special is the time she takes to connect with our residents. She makes sure they understand what she is explaining and takes the time to meet them where they are. Her genuine care for our residents and her coworkers shines through in everything she does.

Morgan, thank you for all of the care, thoughtfulness, and dedication you bring to Rockland every day. We appreciate you more than you know! Congratulations! 🎉
