Dear fellow citizens of Belpre, we here at the City of Belpre EMS would like to present to you the new ambulance 493. After a recent fire that over took the earlier new ambulance we were forced to start over and that never comes easy. Phone calls, meetings and many many text and emails to get another unit as quick as possible and back on the road to serve those of Belpre. We were checked off by the state of Ohio this morning and PASSED, as this unit is in service ready to go. All the thanks to the City of Belpre, Ohio, mayor Susan Abdella, safety service director Brian Rhodes, council chair Lyndsay Dennis and others of council for supporting us, EMS board president Jeffrey Greenley and all the board, PennCare Joe Engelhardt and staff and lastly the crews that make it all come together. All the ambulances and equipment in the world will just sit there if we dont have the people, it takes those that are willing to answer the call that makes it all worth it!! We have a great group here and a great support system keeping these rigs moving. Thank you all again for believing in us
