HOCTIL’s mission is to serve individuals with disabilities and chronic illness to maintain independence in their community through Advocacy, Information & Resource, Support & Transition Services, Trainings & Assistive Technology, and Independent Living Services. Our philosophy is to promote your right to make choices for your life, have equal/active participation in your community, and accept responsibility for oneself. We serve all ages and all disabilities regardless of income.

We are seeking participants for a research study focused on helping children with autism strengthen play and communication skills with a peer.

Children will participate in guided play activities designed to increase social play statements and peer interactions alongside a neurotypical sibling, friend, or another peer. If a peer is not available, we can help match your child with a study partner.

Who can participate:
• Autistic children ages 4–7
• Children who use 3–5-word phrases
• Children who willingly play near peers with shared materials

✅ Participation is completely free
📍 Sessions take place our clinic site located at 2201 MacArthur Drive, Suite 101
