Bell County Senior Expo is returning for its 16th year and will be held at the Huntington Bank Expo (formerly Cadence Bank Center) in Belton, Texas, on September 22 from 8am to 1pm. This event celebrates the spirit and culture of Central Texas and is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC, welcoming seniors, caregivers, veterans, and community members. The event features over 150 Texas-themed vendor booths, hundreds of door prizes, giveaways, and interactive entertainment, including the Rusty Dusters, Silver Beats Cardio Drummers, and the Bell Dancers line dance group. Attendees can vote for their favorite booth and participate in a grand prize drawing.
Beyond fun and festivities, the Expo provides invaluable resources for older adults, with exhibitors offering information on healthcare, nutrition, Medicare and Medicaid, housing, financial planning, volunteer opportunities, and leisure activities. Free health screenings and educational materials are available, and the “Ask the Expert” series allows visitors to consult directly with local professionals in fields such as oncology, cardiology, stroke, podiatry, and urology. Specialized programs, like CarFit and the Dementia Empathy Experience, further support aging well in Central Texas.
Local organizations, businesses, and sponsors collaborate to ensure that attendees have access to comprehensive resources and support. The Expo has grown over the years, becoming a cornerstone for the community by connecting seniors and their families with trusted professionals and services. It aims to empower older adults to remain healthy, independent, and engaged, while also guiding those planning for their future. The event reflects Central Texas's commitment to its senior population, offering a welcoming environment filled with information, entertainment, and celebration.
