With over 8 years of experience in the funeral profession, Makinnzie brings a unique combination of professionalism, organization, and heartfelt care to everything she does. As our Office Manager, she oversees funeral home administration, financial operations, insurance coordination, and countless behind-the-scenes details that help ensure every family receives the highest level of service.

Makinnzie understands that every family’s journey is deeply personal. Her compassionate nature, calming presence, and attention to detail help create an environment where families feel supported, respected, and cared for during some of life’s most difficult moments. Whether assisting families directly or supporting our staff, she approaches every task with kindness, dedication, and genuine concern for others.

Known for her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, Makinnzie is also passionate about personal and professional growth. She is currently furthering her education in Criminal Justice while continuing to build her career within the funeral profession.

Mother’s Day can feel the longest after the world grows quiet.
The flowers have been delivered.
The lunches and gatherings are over.
The phone calls stop coming in.
And suddenly, in the stillness of the night, the reality settles in all over again… she’s not here.

You try to stay busy all day because keeping your hands moving feels easier than letting your heart slow down long enough to feel the ache. But when the evening comes, grief has a way of finding the empty spaces.

You miss her voice.
You miss the way she checked on everyone else before herself.
You miss the comfort only a mother could give without even trying.
You miss hearing “I love you” in the way only she could say it.

Mother’s Day can be beautiful for many, but for those grieving, it can also be incredibly heavy. And if tonight your heart hurts a little more than usual, please know you are not alone.
