Prevolia Agnew James age 95 of Anderson S.C., passed peacefully at her home. She was born in Anderson County on September 01, 1930 to the parents of the late Durant Agnew, and Mariah Simmons Agnew. She was a member of Welfare Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter Barbara Elaine James of Belton S.C. three sons Avery (Clair) James of Anderson S.C., Richard (Johnnie Mae) James of Greenville S.C. and Eric James of Belton S.C., two sisters Ellen Clemons, of Belton S.C., and Rozella Agnew of Anderson S.C. 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren and a host of Nieces, and Nephew and Friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. Welfare Baptist Church, family will receive friends one hour pier to service at the Church. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 12:00-6:00 P.M. at Holloway's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. The family is at 410 Brookforest Dr. Anderson S.C. Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Darrell Charles McClendon, age 55, of 114 Josie Creek Drive, passed away on August 15, 2026, at AnMed Medical Center. He was born in New York City and was the son of the late Robert L. Thomas and Jean Marie McClendon Thomas.

Darrell was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School and attended Generosity Baptist Church. Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family and expressing himself through his love of writing music. He lived his life authentically, always staying true to who he was and bringing his own unique personality wherever he went. He cherished the moments shared with those he loved and leaves behind many memories, laughter, and stories that his family and friends will forever hold close to their hearts.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Master Dre’Kim Rigsbee of Allentown, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Minister Debra (Pastor Eddie) Lagroone of Anderson, South Carolina, Relinda “Muffy” Thomas of Lithonia, Georgia, and Barbara McDowell of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Pastor Gregory McClendon of Macon, Georgia, and Donald Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio; one uncle, Charles Walker of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Jerome Walker and Lugenia Walker; his aunt, Eleanor “Midgie” Culbreth; and one brother, William Claude McClendon.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Asbury Memorial Baptist Church....

Charles Anthony Lee, age 51 of 809 Redwood Ave passed Friday August 14, 2026 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Anderson County on May 16, 1975 to the parents of Leroy Lee, and Earlene Sullivan Lee. Survivors include one daughter Desiree Boseman Lee, three sons Qurandus Boseman Lee, Charquez Lee, Charltinez Lee, three sisters Theresa Sullivan, Jackie Lee, and Betty Lee, one brother Leroy Lee Jr., 6 grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Leroy Lee Sr. and one son Antwan Hester. The family is at the home.
Funeral service will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. Anderson First Seventh Day Adventists Church, burial will follow at King David Baptist Church Cemetery, Public viewing will be Thursday from 12:00-6:00P.M. at the funeral home. Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home is in charge.

He was born November 02, 1957 to the parents of the late Leonard Boyd Horton, and Evilena Owens Horton. Survivors include one daughter Bernadette Tomika Latimer of Anderson S.C., one sister Pamela Renita Hatten of Williamston S.C., one brother Leonard Stanley Horton of Atlanta Ga, 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 20, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Wednesday, August 19th from 12:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Holloway’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
