🚨Breaking news: A message from the horses🚨

Hi, we’re Sundance, Cookie, and Dundee.

Usually, we let the humans do the talking. We’re more of the “listen quietly and occasionally demand snacks” type, but we do know a few things.

We know what it’s like to stand quietly beside someone who’s carrying a lot. We know how to help people slow down, breathe, laugh, and reconnect. Every day, we get to be part of moments that change lives.

Today is Give Big CHQ and we’re asking for a little help from our human friends.

Your donation helps keep hay in the barn, programs running, and allows more veterans, first responders, families, and community members to experience the work we do together.

If we’ve ever made you smile, taught you something, or helped someone you care about, we’d be honored to have your support today.

Now if you’ll excuse us, there’s important horse business to attend to. ❤️🐴

We asked Marine Corps veteran Kirk to describe NEIGH in one word.

His answer says a lot.

Kirk’s full interview is coming soon. You won’t want to miss his story.

What one word would you use to describe a place that’s made a difference in your life?

We’re just getting started.

With the support of Forgotten Line Foundation, we’re committed to doing meaningful work in the lives of those in corrections. This mission is about more than programs—it’s about impact, resilience, and showing up.

Grateful for the support. Ready for what’s ahead.

We want to take a moment to highlight an incredible organization doing powerful work right here in our community — National Equine Institute of Growth Through Healing (N.E.I.G.H.).

N.E.I.G.H. provides trauma-informed, equine-assisted wellness programs designed to support veterans, first responders, law enforcement, correctional officers, and their families. Through hands-on work with horses, they help individuals process stress, build resilience, and work toward real healing — often in ways traditional approaches can’t reach.

Members of the Forgotten Line Foundation had the opportunity to attend one of their demos — and it was nothing short of powerful. Seeing firsthand how these interactions create clarity, connection, and emotional breakthroughs reinforces just how critical this kind of support is for those carrying the unseen weight of the job.

This is what real support looks like.
This is what community looks like.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, take a moment to check them out and support their mission. Organizations like this are changing — and saving — lives. https://www.theneigh.org/
