Hi! 👋 It's about time for another introduction post - this time sharing the BTS version of me - I've tried to keep it all non-work/career related 😉 even though my work is one of the biggest parts of my life.

1️⃣ The river is my happiest place - summers in Bend are spent on the river as much as possible = floating down the river with a bevvy and good souls.
❤️ My husband Tony .comella is my best friend and unpaid business partner - he really does deserve his own appreciation post...
2️⃣ I love non-seafood Asian cuisine of any kind - Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian. It's the sauces for me.
3️⃣ This AI generated caricature nailed it, especially my little blonde side kick Stella.
4️⃣ My mom started doing pilates just last year and I'm so proud of her for taking care of herself after being a care-taker for my Dad the last 10 years.
5️⃣ Catch us on vacation tracking down the best oat milk Cortado / Gilbralter (1:1 espresso:milk) in the city.
6️⃣ Expect me to veer off to take photos of colorful wall murals but then do nothing with those photos. I love anything vibrant color (our wedding color palette was exciting)
7️⃣ My best friendship with Alex started as Pen Pals, turned into hosting her as foreign exchange student , turned "sisters" to bridesmaids. She's French & Argentine and now Australian, lives in Sydney and I can't believe I get to see her almost every year now.
8️⃣ I have a 20' x 50' vegetable garden - my work is almost always overseen by Stella. Gardening has taught me patience and learning to let go.
9️⃣ No kids of my own - but distant auntie to my niece Ruby and nephew Ryan.
🔟 My Dad was my soul twin - he passed in April 2025 from MSA and I think about him everyday.
1️⃣1️⃣ I love country music! Favorite artist is Jordan Davis and I'm seeing him in concert for the third year in a row this summer.

🎶 Current obsession is IYKYK

Those transfers can be AWKWARD.

Make it a little less so with your Stopper!

👉 Make sure to lock in the carriage with a few springs 🔴🔴🔴 so it doesn't move during the transfer.

1️⃣ Standing and walking are lower on the priority list than you might think.
👉 Have conversations with your clients.
👉 Read between the lines to find what they really care about.

2️⃣ You don't need fancy/expensive equipment to offer a great neuro rehab program.
👉 Foundational exercises on the floor can be challenging enough! + it's what most people need anyways.
👉 Make your program more affordable and accessible to this already $$ strapped community with intelligently crafted floor-based programs. -overhead!

Pilates Push through bar exercises for neuro rehab: start here!

The push-through-bar (PTB) is a great tool for teaching:
👉 shoulder mechanics
👉 triceps strengthening
👉 postural stability
👉 dynamic spine control

🔑 The bar creates a "closed-chain" experience for upper body loading, without the full load. A great way to introduce foundations.
💥 The kick of the spring-loaded bar also offers a great kinesthetic cue for stability! (IYKYK)

1️⃣ Seated "arch & curl" (and parts) — intermediate

2️⃣ Circle saw — intermediate/advanced coordination

3️⃣ PTB presses — start here for shoulder mechanics!

4️⃣ Hanging Cat/Cow — also love this one for beginners

5️⃣ Side Mermaid — harder than it looks!

What makes these exercises effective is the customization to each individual through:
