Say hello to Jake Hodges, DPT! 👋

Central Oregon born and raised, Jake grew up in Redmond before earning his Kinesiology degree from Oregon State University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He enjoys working with patients of all backgrounds and has a special interest in hand therapy, combining hands-on treatment with movement-based rehab to help people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.

We’re excited to welcome Jake to the Resolve team!

Resolve PT News - 🌷Spring Forward with Health & Community Goodness -

Resolve Physical Therapy is proud to support Sleep In Heavenly Peace, a volunteer-driven nonprofit whose mission is simple: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town. Their volunteers build and deliver twin beds and bunk beds to children in our community who currently don’t have a bed of their own.

So if it’s not growing pains, it could be Osgood Schlatter’s!
How to identify:

1) A visible, tender bump right below the kneecap
2) Pain that gets worse with jumping or sprinting
3) Sensitivity when they kneel down

Why this happens?

Your child’s bones are growing faster than their muscles, causing the quad tendon to literally “tug” on the growth plate. It’s an overuse injury and we can help!! Don’t let this sideline your kiddo!!
