💚🌳 Treehouse Families — Let's Come Together for Silver Rail! 💚

In the wake of last week's heartbreaking tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary, Treehouse Therapies is finding ways to share love, kindness, and support with our community. 💚

💌 Cards of Kindness: We have card-making stations at BOTH our McVey and Billadeau locations! We invite children, parents, and caregivers to create heartfelt cards of encouragement and support while they are at our clinics. We'll deliver them to Silver Rail in a couple of weeks.

🎁 Gift Cards & Donations: We're partnering with CODSN to support two families who experienced tragic losses and wish to remain out of the public eye.

Gift cards can be dropped off at either Treehouse location or CODSN's offices.

Tax-deductible monetary donations can be made at https://www.codsn.org/donate/

Please write "Silver Rail Families" in the donation notes.

All donations will be divided equally between the two families.

🌳 At Treehouse, we believe no family should walk alone. Together, we can remind our neighbors that they are surrounded by a community that cares.

Monday, October 19th a community support event at Alyce Hatch.

Our hearts are with the children, families, and community who have been impacted by this heartbreaking tragedy.

As children return to school this Wednesday, we recognize that many parents, caregivers, friends, and family members may be carrying fear, grief, worry, and uncertainty. You don’t have to navigate these feelings alone.

Treehouse is here to support you. We will be offering weekly support groups with our peer support specialists and other professionals, providing a safe space to connect, share, find support, and access helpful resources.

Whether you need someone to listen, have questions about supporting the children in your life, or simply want to connect with others in our community, you are welcome.

More details about support group times and locations will be shared soon.

🎃👻 GIDDY UP… IT’S TIME TO RUN! 🐎🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Join us on October 31st for the Giddy Up 5K Ranch Run — Halloween Edition in beautiful Sisters, Oregon! 🧡💜💚

⛰️ Run, walk, or trot your way through the course while taking in an incredible view of the Three Sisters — one of the views we love most here in Central Oregon. 🌲✨

And the best part? 💚 Your participation supports Treehouse Therapies!

Proceeds from the event will benefit our ASPEN Program in Sisters, helping more children and their parents/caregivers access this important program — regardless of financial or insurance limitations. 🌳💚

What a beautiful day of belonging, connection, laughter, and community! 🌳🍃💦

A HUGE thank-you to our incredible Treehouse families, friends, community members, donors, volunteers, staff, and every single person who contributed in big or small ways to make today so special. 💚

From the happy kiddos running through the playground, our amazing band 🎶🎤, our champ therapists 💦 and Director 💦, 🐴🐶🫏 animals, 🎨 face painting and hair tinsel, 🌳 playing under the trees, 🍃 making memories, 🌭🔥 BBQ goodness, and ALL the smiles and laughter in between… today was a reminder of what happens when a community comes together and why we do what we do at Treehouse. 🥰

Free 2 hour community training. Register by tomorrow!! September 10th is the deadline to sign up for the Madras training. See the message from Central Oregon Health Council:

"Hello friends,
We’re reaching out to ask for your help making our upcoming Respite Ready: Central Oregon session in Madras a success.

Respite Ready is a free, 2-hour community training for family members, friends, neighbors, and other trusted adults who support young people experiencing mental health challenges. The training offers practical tools for responding to challenging moments, building safety and connection, and caring for yourself while supporting others.

We need at least 2 more participants to register for the Madras session by September 10 in order to hold the training.

If your organization serves or connects with parents, caregivers, families, or other adults who support young people, we would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity with your networks. A flyer is attached and can be shared directly with community members, partners, staff, or others who may benefit.
