🌺✨After two incredible, jam-packed weeks, our ENT team has officially completed their mission at Majuro Hospital.
To celebrate the end of their time together, the team was honored with a beautiful Yokwe party: a heartfelt Marshallese tradition centered around community, gratitude, love, and connection. “Yokwe” means both hello and love in Marshallese, and this celebration perfectly reflected the warmth and kindness that our volunteers experienced throughout their stay 💙
During the celebration, the team was gifted handwoven Marshallese jewelry, flower crowns, and traditional leis as tokens of appreciation. These meaningful gifts represented far more than souvenirs, they symbolized friendship, cultural exchange, and the lasting bonds formed between our volunteers and the local community.
We want to express our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to our incredible ENT volunteer team for their unwavering dedication, compassionate care, and tireless hard work throughout this mission. From long days in the operating room to moments of comfort and connection with patients and staff, this team gave their all with kindness, humility, and servant hearts. Your willingness to travel far from home to serve others has made a lasting impact on countless lives, and we are endlessly thankful for each and every one of you!
We are also deeply grateful to the staff at Majuro Hospital and our Marshallese hosts for welcoming our team with such generosity and island spirit. The friendships and memories created over these two weeks will stay with us forever.
Safe travels home to our amazing volunteers and kommol tata for an unforgettable mission filled with healing, hope, and love🌴✨
