Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Lenorah Williams Jacobs

Funeral services for Mrs. Lenorah Williams Jacobs will be 12:30pm Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Shiloh Baptist Church on 121 James S. McLeod, Sr. Memorial Highway in Bennettsville, SC. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery on Wallace Road (behind Ideal Cemetery). The family will greet visitors and friends at a wake service on Saturday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, also at Shiloh Baptist Church. Rites and rituals will be delivered by Order of the Eastern Star Golden Star Chapter #371 and Miles Tent #22 during the wake.

Mrs. Jacobs died on Friday, July 17th at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband James Willie Jacobs. She is survived by her children: daughters Wynonna and Duane, and son James II.

Funeral services for Ms. Katrina "K.K." Sheree Flournoy will be 2:00pm Saturday, May 30th at the Berea Convention Center, 1062 Highway 38, in Bennettsville, SC. Burial will follow at Ideal Cemetery also in Bennettsville.

Public viewing for "K.K." Flournoy will be at the Morris Funeral Cottage Chapel, 284 Second Street in Cheraw on Friday May 29th from 3pm until 7pm. There will not be a formal wake hour. Family and friends may sign the register book in Cheraw during those hours.

Flowers can be delivered to the Morris Chapel in Cheraw beginning Friday, May 29th at 1:00pm. Florists may call 843-537-5995 to make other delivery arrangements if necessary.

Our dear sister and cousin "K.K." departed this life much too soon on Thursday, May 14th in Plainfield City, New Jersey. She was 46 years old. Cotton Funeral Service of Orange, New Jersey conducted a memorial service on Friday May 22nd to honor Ms. Flournoy. We thank them for their part in her Going Home Services.

The Flournoy, McLaughlin, and Morris Families would like to thank the family and friends in New Jersey and here in town for the kindness, condolences and prayers extended to them during their time of loss.

Celebrating the life of Ms. Gloria Jean Watson Hancock

Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Jean Watson Hancock will be 2:00pm Saturday May 23, 2026 at the Marlboro County High School Gymnasium in Bennettsville, SC. Friends and the community may greet the family at a wake service from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, May 22nd. The visitation will be held at the Bennettsville Church of Christ located at 632 Oakwood Street. There will be a balloon release honoring Mrs. Gloria Hancock at MCHS at the transportation office Friday at 8:30 am.

The Family will be accepting guests at 104 Burch St. in Bennettsville.

There will be a unique funeral procession prior to the service. The procession will retrace Gloria's bus route. Those wishing to participate in this tribute can meet at 1pm at MCHS parking lot.

The family kindly asks that if you are ordering flowers, please do not order arrangements with metal stands and styrofoam backing since there will be no burial in a cemetery after the funeral.

Please have potted plants and dish-garden type floral arrangements delivered directly to the Morris Chapel at 142 Marshall Street in Bennettsville starting on Friday May 22nd. Please do not have any flowers delivered to Cheraw.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as we want to ensure that all floral tributes will be fully enjoyed by the family after the services are over.

Mrs. Gloria was born February 28, 1956, and died on Friday, May 15th of natural causes in Columbia, SC. She was the daughter of Jennie Lee Watson Crossland and the late Julius "Sonny" Moore. She was a 1974 graduate of Bennettsville High School.

Mrs. Gloria was a devoted school bus driver with the Marlboro County School District. She worked in many other places throughout her life but driving the kids to school was one of her great passions and joys in her life.

Mrs. Gloria is survived by her son, Lorne, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her mother, two brothers and several special siblings.

Morris Funeral Cottage of Cheraw has been entrusted with Gloria Jean Watson Hancock's services.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Allen Ridges will be held 2:00pm Saturday April 25, 2026, at the Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bennettsville, SC. There will be a public viewing for one hour at the church beginning at 1:00pm.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Military Funeral Honors will be provided by the United States Army during the Services of Committal and Interment.

Please have flowers delivered directly to the church beginning at 11:00am Saturday morning. The family will be receiving visitors and friends at the Ridges Homeplace.

Mr. Ridges died on Monday, April 20th at the Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina of natural causes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Mae Jacobs Ridges will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bennettsville, SC. Services of Committal and Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

A wake service will be open to the public to fellowship with family and friends on Friday, March 6th from 5pm to 7pm, also at Sandy Grove.

Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church is located at 1047 Sandy Grove Church Road, Bennettsville, SC 29512.

Mrs. Katie Mae passed away on Saturday, February 28th at the McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, SC with her husband, Mr. Bill at her side. She was 84.
