✨ Employee Spotlight: Emily Gallese ✨

Our first employee spotlight is Emily Gallese! Emily is part of our driving/and transfer team as well as helping with larger services.
We have a few behind the scenes employees who deserve recognition for the many ways they help make our business possible, so we’ll be sharing a few of these spotlights over the coming weeks.
Shawn and I couldn’t be more thankful for these incredible people who treat our business as if it were their own. Their hard work, dedication, and care mean so much to us, and we’re excited to give them the recognition they deserve! ❤️

About Emily:

Emily was born and raised in Bennington, and is grateful for the opportunity to return to funeral service for a local, family owned funeral home in the community she has always considered home.

Emily graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 2008 with a degree in mortuary science. Although her career eventually led her to nursing which she continues to practice, her desire to care for others has remained at the heart of everything she does. Her background in both nursing and funeral service has given Emily a deep appreciation for the importance of dignity, compassion, and simply being there for families during some of life's most difficult times.

Emily and her husband Andrew have shared almost 20 years of marriage, and are raising their two children Maddy and Isaac together. Family is a big part of Emily's life, if she's not working she's cheering on her kids from the sidelines at a sports event. She also loves camping and tending to her large dahlia garden.

For Emily, joining the Devlin's feels like coming full circle. She is honored to once again serve the people of Bennington and its surrounding communities. She looks forward to working alongside Shawn and Annie, caring for local families and building relationships for many years to come.
