AFTER HOURS CALL: 501-373-8588 CAPC welcomes patients from birth through 19 years for both sick and well-child care. In addition, we offer case management clinics for ADHD, Asthma, Weight Management and Headaches. Even when we are closed, you can reach a nurse by calling 501-373-8588.

Heads up, our power is currently out but we are working through it! Elevators are out, please use the stairwell to check in on the second floor for sick appointments. If you have a well-child appointment this morning with Dr W**d, please check in upstairs. All other well-child patients will be seen downstairs.

Due to unexpected air conditioning issues, our clinic will be temporarily relocated to the downstairs well-child area on Saturday, June 20.

When you arrive, please check in with our staff at the side entrance of the building facing I-30.

☀️ Sun Safety Starts Early! ☀️
As the temperatures rise and outdoor adventures begin, don't forget to protect your child's skin from harmful UV rays.

🧴 Sunscreen Safety Tips for Kids:
✅ Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
✅ Apply sunscreen 15–30 minutes before going outside.
✅ Reapply every 2 hours, and after swimming or sweating.
✅ Don't forget easy-to-miss spots like ears, lips, scalp, tops of feet, and the back of the neck.
✅ Dress children in lightweight protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses when possible.

👶 For babies younger than 6 months, keep them in the shade and use protective clothing. Consult your pediatrician if sunscreen is needed for small exposed areas.
Remember, sunburns in childhood can increase the risk of skin damage later in life. A few simple precautions can help keep your family safe while enjoying the sunshine!

Back-to-School Wellness Visits – Schedule Early!

We hope your family is enjoying a fun and active summer! While the new school year may seem far away, now is the perfect time to schedule your child’s back-to-school wellness visit before appointment calendars fill up.

If you have a preferred provider, we encourage you to call soon. Summer appointments book quickly, and many providers may be away on vacation throughout the season.

These visits help ensure your child is ready for:

Kindergarten enrollment for Fall 2026
Summer camp participation
Sports physicals and athletic tryouts
Required school and activity medical clearances

We’re here to help with:

Annual wellness checkups
Required immunizations and vaccines
Sports and camp physicals

Please note: Forms and immunization records may require 24–48 hours for preparation.

Our schedule is currently open through November, making now a great time to reserve your appointment before summer gets even busier.
