Since its inception in 1965, Generations Healthcare Management proudly owns and operates Generations Senior Living of Berea & Strongsville. Coury family provides hands-on assistance and oversight to each of its communities. Generations Senior Living continues to evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of those we serve. We remain an integral part of Berea, OH and Strongsville, OH community providing valuable partnerships with children’s educational programs as well as the local University. By keeping in touch with the needs of our residents and the community around us, we remain poised to anticipate and meet the needs of both current and future residents.

October is National Audiology Awareness Month, a good reminder that hearing health is about much more than volume.

Sometimes hearing loss shows up in obvious ways, like turning the TV up or asking people to repeat themselves. Other times, it can look like becoming quieter in group settings, avoiding busy restaurants, or stepping back from conversations that have become harder to follow.

We had a great time at the Strongsville Senior Center hosting a live cooking demonstration with our very own Chef Fred! 👨‍🍳

Chef Fred showed everyone how to make Asian Chicken Meatballs with Sesame Garlic Sauce, sharing some helpful cooking tips along the way!

Everyone got to sample the dish and take home the recipe!

Today was another reminder of what makes The Villas at Bakers Ridge such a special place to call home!

Our residents gathered in the clubhouse to enjoy an AMAZING chili bar, generously sponsored by Generations Senior Living! 🌶️

Our retired residents enjoyed an afternoon of delicious food, laughter, and time with neighbors, while we made sure our working residents didn’t miss out! We had chili packed and ready in to-go containers for them to enjoy after a long day at work!

Because at The Villas at Bakers Ridge, community isn’t just about where you live. It’s about feeling connected, included, and cared for. ❤️

Aging can bring changes that are difficult to accept, especially when those changes weren’t a choice.

Giving up driving, adjusting to mobility changes, retiring, losing someone close, or beginning to need more help can affect much more than a daily routine. These changes can also impact a person’s sense of independence, identity, and control.

Our latest blog explores how families can support an aging loved one through these transitions with patience, understanding, and respect.

In this special interview, Phil Coury, Vice President and one of the owners of Generations Senior Living, shares what this milestone means to him, the vision his father had when he started Generations, and some of what he has enjoyed most over the past 25 years.

While a lot has changed over the years, the heart of Generations has remained the same: a commitment to caring for people and making everyone who walks through our doors feel like family.
