This one is not for the faint of heart 😏
Krystal's water broke a little earlier than expected, so she waited patiently for labor to start. Later that night cntrx started and a short while later, Miss Gavia made her way into the world 💚
Momma topped off her post-birth oxytocin high with a little raw placenta ceviche 🥰 served in an oyster shell and all! I've been waiting for the day that one of my clients wanted to do a raw placenta shot! Doing this can help to reduce bleeding and get the uterus back down to size faster.

When you hit transition so fast, that one step out of the tub means baby is coming!! Lauren let her body guide her & she knelt down on hands & knees next to the tub 💚 It was so fast that Tamara the midwife (by the grace of GOD) sprinted up from the 3rd floor just in time to help Kurtis catch his son! We like spicing things up around here & keeeping everyone on their toes 😉

My 100th BIRTH 💚
It was special on so many levels. Ami was sent my way by her friend Lily, who was also a doula client of mine. She was only looking to chat about placenta care, but the conversation blossomed 😏. Ami wanted to home birth! She went into labor during The Browns 1st playoff game, water broke with a touch down, & The Browns won. Shortly after, she welcomed Baby Tucker. It was special that Lily was there to capture these amazing moments. It was awesome to watch two friends supporting each other that I also supported, ALL while next to Rosie, the midwife I've learned so much from. The energy in the room was perfect. Thank you Ami for allowing me to share this with you.
