Please join us for a community tea session featuring a wide array of Chinese teas, including oolong, red, and puerh. A separate pot of herbal tea will always be available for those who prefer to avoid caffeine.

These gatherings are designed to cultivate a contemplative atmosphere. Through the shared enjoyment of tea, we will create space to explore the imagination by offering poems, dreams, reflections, and other forms of creative expression.

Tea masterScott Traffas has spent decades exploring the various exoteric and esoteric traditions of the East and West. His abiding interest in the intersection of Yoga, Ta**ra, and Ayurveda deeply informs his approach to gongfu tea curation. Beyond the teas that are selected and their method of brewing, Scott is particularly interested in the qualities of becoming that constellate among friends, both old and new, around a tea table.

What will be discussed at this session...? Whitman's Leaves of Grass, The Experiment at La Chorrea, the sublime ethos of Judas Iscariot, the vagaries of hyperreality, PKD’s Dark-Haired Girl, the Alembic itself!?
.given time (and tea)...even eternity will reveal itself…

Many of us work with psychedelics without a guide or with limited support to integrate these experiences. That can feel painful or lonely when we’ve had meaningful journeys (and also when we’ve had disappointing journeys!). Healing – especially from interpersonal injuries – deepens when done in community. The same is true of personal and spiritual growth. Even the most joyful experiences are best metabolized when witnessed. Together, we become a mosaic – a colorful and varied community, greater together than the sum of our parts.

Mosaic is a psychedelic integration circle for self-identified women. Here, you’ll find a supportive space to integrate the lessons, challenges, and wisdom from psychedelic journeys so that you can apply those learnings to everyday life. Together, we’ll seek to understand our psychedelic experiences and make profound insights accessible and actionable.

This is a drop-in, monthly supported peer group rather than a psychotherapy group. We create space for sharing stories and experiences, receiving support, and forging genuine connections. Meditation, mindful movement, somatic practices, Internal Family Systems parts work, and creative tools are all part of the fun.

Whether you’re new to integration or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll find a supportive community here.

Note: You’re invited to bring an object for our community altar that represents some aspect of your journey.

No one turned away for lack of funds. If this applies to you, please pay at the door.

This event is a closed container. There will be no further entry after 2:15.

Dr. Lyssa Menard is a psychologist, psychedelic therapist, and professor (Northwestern University Medical School) with specialties in Integrative Medicine, trauma treatment, and health psychology. She is the founder of Strategies for Change, a coaching and consulting firm promoting personal, organizational, and leadership change and has been a consultant to a wide range of media outlets, including CNN, New York Times, and WebMD.

Universe Somatic is a practice that integrates and alternates group meditation, movement and energy work with a spirit of experimentation and playfulness. We explore the union and blending of spaciousness and emotional energies in a contemplative practice that is embodied and expressive.

The theme for this Universe Somatic is The Bright Thread In the Dark. We will play in knowing and not-knowing, hope and despair, yin and yang, creation and destruction, dancing in deep relationship with these polarities while also listening for the thread that doesn’t get stuck on either side.

During this retreat you will be invited to give expression to a full-range of energetic experience some of which may be familiar and comfortable, others which may challenge core implicit beliefs about who you are. We will be engaging in practices using our voices and our bodies, integrating movement and stillness, sound and silence.

Teacher Bio: Jogen Adam Salzberg is an awareness teacher and parts work facilitator with 30 years of meditation experience, including 16 years of intensive residential Zen training. His practice and teaching is inspired and informed by Chan/Zen, Dzogchen, the Paratheatre medium of Antero Alli, Voice Dialogue, Butoh and more. He also loves to play drum set, marvel at his cats, and search for/eat the best Pad Kee Mao he can find.

This all-day gathering moves from inquiry to embodiment to celebration. Presented by S*x & Psychedelics Magazine, the event brings together clinicians, facilitators, artists, and community members for a day exploring the intersection of somatics, sexuality, psychedelics, and healing.

The afternoon program offers three panels and three embodiment workshops — spacious, intentional, and designed so you can be fully present for what you choose. Topics span body-based healing, somatic approaches to psychedelic work, ecosexuality, shadow work, and more. A tea lounge with platonic touch and herbal tea, and an integration room with tarot, reiki, and energy work, will be open all day. Facilitators and panelists to be announced shortly.

As the day turns to night, the space transforms into a consent-forward celebration — dance, curated music, and low lighting. Dress for your body's delight. A dedicated eco exploration room invites participants into guided sensory play with elements of the natural world. Chill-out spaces remain open for rest and integration throughout the evening.

S*x & Psychedelics brings together two provocative and transformative subjects in dynamic forums. Our annual print magazine, immersive workshops, and curated gatherings offer spaces where curious seekers can share stories, explore research, and engage with art. Our mission is to ignite personal empowerment, strengthen community bonds, and challenge societal norms by platforming this momentous cultural movement. Founded by a collective of q***r, neurodiverse, sex-positive creatives and clinicians—Sura Hertzberg, AMFT; Emily Savage; Olivia Clear, LPCC; and James Belle Guest—our work spans therapy, psychedelic facilitation, somatic practice, publishing, and community event curation. Contributors include Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens, Penny Slinger, Mark Henson, Britta Love, Mama de la Myco, David Jay Brown, and many others. We're stocked in New York, San Francisco, Paris, Berlin, and London, and have partnered with MAPS, Horizons PBC, the Museum of S*x, and She Bop.
