RMMC Welcomes Summer Reading Program Students!
Today, Reeves Memorial Medical Center was excited to welcome 36 students from the Summer Reading Program for a special visit to our hospital!
During their visit, Richard Hinton, RN, Infection Control, spoke with the students about the importance of proper handwashing and how it helps keep our community healthy. Sarah Moses-Barfield, RN, Kid Med, shared information about the services she provides through our Rural Health Clinic and how she helps care for children and families in our community.
The students then enjoyed a guided tour of our facility, where they had the opportunity to meet department directors and learn firsthand about the many services that make our hospital operate each day.
A special thank you to Union Parish Library, as well as Ms. Callaway and her staff, for inviting us to partner with you to provide this educational experience. We loved having these young visitors!
