Your dedication, compassion, expertise, and commitment to helping our residents regain their strength, independence, and confidence are second to none! We are incredibly proud of the exceptional therapy services you provide and the outstanding outcomes you help our residents achieve.

A special shoutout to our Director of Rehabilitation, Courtni Wirz! Courtni is truly a standout leader, and we couldn't be more fortunate to have her leading this incredible team! Her passion, leadership, and commitment to excellence set the bar high every single day!

And we can't forget two VERY special members of our therapy family — Ava and Ridge! Our four-legged therapy companions bring an extra dose of love, comfort, smiles, and tail wags to our residents and staff! Sometimes the best therapy comes with four paws and a wagging tail, and these two remind us just how powerful a little unconditional love can be!

Our therapy department doesn't just help residents get stronger — they help residents get their LIVES back!

🎃🍦 A Little Late Posting, But Too Sweet Not to Share! 🍬💕

We've had a couple of fun-filled days here at Wi******er Nursing Center! ❤️

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed some delicious Pumpkin Floats with our wonderful Activities Director, Brandy! 🎃🥤 What a perfect fall treat!

Today, our sweet friends from Legacy Hospice stopped by and treated everyone to some freshly made Cotton Candy! 🍭☁️ Nothing brings out the smiles quite like a little sugary goodness!

A HUGE thank you to Brandy and our friends at Legacy Hospice for making these days extra special for our residents! We appreciate everything you do! 🧡

😁💛 SMILES ARE CONTAGIOUS AT WI******ER NURSING CENTER! 💛😁

It's World Smile Day season, and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to show off some of our FAVORITE smiles! 😁❤️

As the one and only Dolly Parton once said:

💛 “If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.” 💛

We couldn't agree more, Dolly! Our residents give us a MILLION reasons to smile, and we hope these happy faces bring a little extra sunshine to your day! ☀️

🌴☀️ We also had a bittersweet celebration today! We held a little going-away party for Lexy and Zeke, who will soon be trading Missouri for the SUNSHINE STATE! 🌊🌴 We have to admit, we're a LITTLE jealous of all that Florida sunshine! 😂☀️

But more than anything, we are incredibly grateful for everything Lexi and Zeke have done for our residents here at Wi******er Nursing Center. Their kindness, dedication, and the smiles they've brought to our building have meant so much. They will certainly be missed, but we wish them nothing but happiness, sunshine, and wonderful new adventures in Florida! ❤️

Yesterday was a BUSY and exciting day for Wi******er Nursing Center and Wi******er Place Assisted Living!
Bernie Fall Fest was in full swing, and we absolutely loved being involved in our community’s biggest event. The Bernie community is always so good to us and our residents, and we are proud to be a part of such a wonderful place.
We were especially proud to see Ms. Vivian Putnam-Johnson serve as Grand Marshal and help kick off the parade! A big thank you to Chase Noe for driving, and to Brittany—VIP’s built-in best friend—for riding along and helping make the day even more special.
We also had some expert resident candy throwers representing Wi******er in the parade! Thank you to Ms. Barb, Mr. Stan, and Mr. Nathaniel for helping us show the kiddos some love and making sure plenty of candy made it into the crowd!
Our parade float, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” took home SECOND PLACE! We are so proud of our staff who worked hard to pull everything together, decorate the float, and hunt down all of those costumes. It was definitely a team effort, and it paid off!
The fun didn’t stop there. We also participated in the Chili Cook-Off at the park, where Michelle Beck from Wi******er Place Assisted Living cooked chili for our residents and still found time to make an extra crock pot for the competition. Her chili brought home SECOND PLACE! We are so proud of her—although our residents will tell you she is always first place in their book! Michelle has such a servant’s heart and a chef’s touch, and we are so lucky to have her.
We also had a great time hosting pumpkin painting for the kiddos at the park. Ms. Debbie, Ms. Elizabeth, and Elizabeth’s son did an awesome job helping with the activity and making it such a fun stop for the kids.
What a wonderful event put on by the City of Bernie! Thank you to all of our residents and staff throughout the Wi******er Communities who helped make the day such a success.
We truly are surrounded by the best folks, and we are incredibly grateful to call Bernie home. 🎃🍂🏆❤️

We had a wonderful time celebrating with delicious cupcakes, plenty of smiles, and great company. We are so thankful for the opportunity to celebrate these special residents and make their birthdays a little extra sweet.
