Bertram Nursing and Rehabilitation is a 24 hour skilled nursing facility with a full service rehabilitation department including physical, occupational and speech therapy. We offer FREE nurse aide classes for our student nurse aides. Get hired, get trained, get certified — at no cost to you. If you've ever thought about getting into healthcare but didn't know where to start, this is it.

Current openings:

🔹 Student Nurse Aide — free CNA training included
🔹 Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) — 6AM to 2PM
🔹 Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) — 2PM to 10PM
🔹 Charge Nurse — Weekends
🔹 Speech-Language Pathologist — PRN (as needed)
🔹 Housekeeping

We're a small facility in Bertram where staff know their residents by name and the team backs each other up. Every role here shapes how our residents experience their day.

We treated our team to tres leches cake and apple walnut pie today. Two very different desserts, and judging by how fast they went, nobody had trouble choosing.

☕ Happy National Pumpkin Spice Day from Bertram Nursing and Rehab! 🎃

We set up a coffee bar for our team to kick off October — cold brew, pumpkin cream cold brew, pumpkin spice and Italian sweet cream creamers, pumpkin madeleines, and pumpkin spice mini cupcakes.

For the record, we did keep a pot of regular black coffee going. We know not everyone is on board with October's agenda. 😄

Here's what our team has coming up this month. Pumpkin spice to start the morning, a dessert bar in the afternoon, and a candy corn spread for our night shift crew, because every shift deserves something.

We marked National Ice Cream Cone Day on the 22nd the only reasonable way — ice cream and waffle cones for the whole team — and used it to celebrate the people who had birthdays and work anniversaries this month.

🎉 Happy Work Anniversary to Jessica, Rian, Tara, Karen, Becky, Samantha, Rhonda, and Jasmine!

Work anniversaries mean something in this field. Every year someone stays is another year of residents who know their face, their voice, and the way they do things. That kind of consistency is hard to build and impossible to fake.

Congratulations to Esmeralda, our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, on being named September's Employee of the Month!

Each month our residents cast the votes for this award. The people who see our staff up close, every day.

Esmeralda helps our residents get back to doing the things that make a day feel like their own: dressing, eating, moving through their space with confidence and independence. It's patient work, and it's personal, and our residents clearly noticed.

Our team joined our partners from New Century Hospice in wearing pink to celebrate Dolly Parton Day, because if anyone deserves her own holiday, it's Dolly.
