Sometimes surviving cancer isn't the end of the hard part.

That's the part nobody prepares you for.

The appointments slow down.

People tell you how strong you are.

Life is supposed to feel normal again.

But for many survivors, the emotional journey doesn't end when treatment does.

There can still be fear.

Exhaustion.

Grief for the life that changed.

And sometimes pressure to act like everything is okay.

But healing doesn't always happen on a schedule.

On National Cancer Survivor Day, we're recognizing the parts of survival people don't always see.

Your story matters too.

The biggest mistake families make isn't what you think.

It's waiting until a crisis forces the conversation.

Pre-planning isn't really about funeral arrangements.

It's about making sure the people you love never have to guess what you would have wanted.

The best time to have that conversation is before you need it.

One of the hardest parts of grief is that life keeps moving around you.

The calls slow down.
The cards stop coming.
People go back to their routines.

But for the person grieving, the loss is still there.

Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is simply check in.

A quick text.
A phone call.
An invitation to coffee.
A simple “I’ve been thinking about you.”

You don’t have to have the right words. Most people don’t.

What people remember is who stayed present. ❤️

This weekend, we watched families show up with flowers, flags, stories, and memories.

Some came to honor a veteran.
Some came to visit a parent, spouse, sibling, or friend.
Some simply came because love still brings them back.

Memorial Day reminds us that remembrance is deeply personal.

It meant a lot to see so many families come together. ❤️

For a lot of families, Memorial Day is about one person they can’t stop thinking about today.

A dad.
A son.
A wife.
A friend.

Someone who served. Someone who sacrificed. Someone deeply missed.

Today isn’t just about remembering history.
It’s about remembering people. The voices, stories, and moments that still stay with us.

If you’re visiting a loved one today, bringing flowers, placing flags, or simply sitting quietly with your thoughts, you’re not alone in that.

We’re remembering with you today. ❤️

Life can change forever in a single phone call.

For many families, a stroke changed everything overnight.
A spouse became a caregiver.
A parent wasn’t quite the same.
A conversation became the last normal one.

During Stroke Awareness Month, we’re thinking about the families walking through recovery, the caregivers carrying so much, and the loved ones who are deeply missed every single day.

Some people leave behind silence when they’re gone.

Others leave behind noise.
Engines. Crowds. Traditions.
Sunday afternoons that won’t feel quite the same.

Kyle Busch was one of those people.

Whether you rooted for him or against him, he made people feel something, and that’s rare.

His passing is a reminder of how quickly life can change, even for the people who seem larger than life.

Today, our hearts are with his family, friends, team, and the millions of fans who are grieving. Sometimes, the people we’ve never met still leave a lasting mark on us.

For a lot of people, Memorial Day means cookouts and a long weekend.
For others, it’s flowers in the passenger seat and a visit to someone they miss every day.

This weekend, we’re thinking about the families across Oklahoma spending time remembering the people who still mean everything to them.

Bring the flowers.
Bring the stories.
Bring the people who still talk about them.

We’re remembering them with you.

Most people avoid this conversation… until it’s too late.

Not because they don’t care,
but because it feels overwhelming.

The truth is, planning ahead doesn’t have to happen all at once.

It can start small.
A simple thought.
A conversation.
A few things written down that matter most.

It’s not about having every answer today…
It’s about creating clarity and care for the people you love.

If there’s one small step you could take… what would it be?

And when you’re ready, we’re here to help.

You can contact us anytime to receive a free pre-planning guide…
something simple to help you get started at your own pace.

This wasn’t supposed to turn into a shelf full of urns.

But for a lot of families… that’s exactly what happened.

One urn became two.
Then three.
Then another generation wondering what to do next.

It’s more common than people think.
