Studies have shown that although children grieve differently, they are no less affected by loss than adults. Children often grieve in spurts rather than for long periods of time. They may act out one moment and then appear to be fine the next. Because of these changes in behavior, it can be difficult for adults to recognize a grieving child. Understanding and acknowledging a child’s grief is the best way to help them move through the grieving process.

When someone passes, it’s hard to clean out their belongings. Here are a few tips that can help make letting go a little easier.
1. Take pictures of things that aren’t practical to keep.
