You get headaches after screens šŸ’»šŸ“±šŸ˜£

So naturally, you assume you need a stronger prescription. That seems logical. But what if you’re solving the wrong problem?

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that clear eyesight automatically means your visual system is working well. It doesn’t.

You can see 20/20 and still struggle to sustain visual performance throughout the day.

That’s where visual stamina comes in.

Visual stamina is your ability to keep your eyes and brain working together efficiently over time. When that system starts breaking down, your body finds ways to compensate.

And compensation often shows up as headaches, blur, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, or feeling completely drained after a day on screens.

The frustrating part is that many people are told everything looks ā€œnormalā€ because they passed the eye exam.

But seeing clearly and functioning efficiently are not the same thing.

Vision isn’t just about seeing clearly. It’s about how efficiently your visual system performs under demand. šŸ‘ļøšŸ§

And screens are one of the fastest ways to expose when that system is struggling.

You didn’t fail the eye test 😳

So why does reading still feel harder than it should?

Why are you rereading the same line and still not retaining it? Why do screens drain you faster than everyone else? Why does your brain check out mid-page?

Most people blame focus. Or attention. Or themselves.

But that might not be the problem.

On a recent episode of with , something unexpected happened in real time. And it changed how Max understood his brain immediately.

If this sounds familiar or you want to see what actually happened šŸ‘‡

You can do the test, but that doesn’t mean you know what you’re seeing.

Most people try this and think:
ā€œI think that was normal?ā€

Meanwhile their brain has been compensating for years. Because an eye turn isn’t always obvious.

Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes one eye just shuts off. Sometimes your brain is doing extra work just to keep things single and clear.

And that’s where the real impact shows up:
😓 fatigue
😣 eye strain
🧠 focus issues
šŸ”Ž depth perception problems

In this video, I break down what to actually look for, what it means, and why these problems are so commonly missed.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and I think we need to talk about something most people miss.

Not every struggle with focus, fatigue, anxiety, or burnout starts with mindset.

Sometimes it starts with a visual system that isn’t working the way it should.

I see this all the time with people dealing with concussions, functional vision problems, brain fog, chronic fatigue, poor focus, and that constant feeling of ā€œwhy does everything feel harder than it should?ā€

They’re told they’re stressed. Burnt out. Distracted. Unmotivated. And sometimes that’s true.

But sometimes the real issue is that their brain is working overtime just to keep up.

Because when your eyes and brain aren’t working well together, your brain has to compensate all day long just to maintain what looks like a ā€œnormalā€ baseline.

That invisible effort becomes heavy.

It shows up as headaches. Fatigue. Irritability. Anxiety. Poor focus. Feeling behind no matter how hard you try.

And because people can’t see it, they assume it’s a mindset problem.

They say things like:
šŸ‘‰ ā€œyou’re fineā€
šŸ‘‰ ā€œjust try harderā€
šŸ‘‰ ā€œyou need more disciplineā€
šŸ‘‰ ā€œit’s all in your headā€

But invisible symptoms still have real causes.

Sometimes it’s not a mindset problem. It’s a visual system problem. And when you finally find the real root, everything starts to make more sense.

If things have felt harder than they should, there may be a reason. And you deserve answers.

šŸ‘‡ Have you ever felt like your brain was working harder than it should?

Most people think their only option is to manage their vision problems.

Glasses. Contacts. Maybe surgery.

And if things still feel off? They assume it’s just part of life. But here’s what I see every single day: ā¬‡ļø

People who can ā€œsee clearlyā€, but their visual system is working way harder than it should. Their eyes aren’t teaming well. Their brain is compensating. And over time, that shows up as fatigue, headaches, brain fog, and poor focus.

So the problem isn’t always clarity. It’s how your eyes and brain are working together.

And that’s the part most people never have evaluated, let alone trained.

If you’ve been dealing with symptoms that don’t fully make sense, there’s usually a reason.

Imagine how many kids (and adults) have been told they have ADHD without anyone ever looking at how their eyes and brain are actually working together.

I’m not saying ADHD isn’t real.

But I am saying this ā¬‡ļø

I’ve seen so many people struggle with focus, attention, reading, even screen time and the piece no one ever checked wasn’t behavioral.

It was visual.

Because when your eyes aren’t working together the way they should, your brain has to step in and compensate just to keep things clear and single.

That extra effort? You feel it.

It can look like trouble focusing. Like avoiding reading. Like your brain just gets tired faster than it should.

Not because you can’t focus, but because your visual system is under constant stress.

Most people were never taught to look at it this way.
But once you see it, it’s hard to unsee.

šŸ‘‰ Comment BLOG and I’ll send you how I break this down in a way most people have never heard before
