As I made a safe, but necessary trip to my office to collect my mail, water my plants etc. I was so very proud to see how the great majority of people in our area are respecting and following the directives to stay and be safe, in contrast to other areas of the country that are experiencing so much protest and turbulence around these issues. I know that, in general, so many of us have been blessed by relative financial security as compared with other parts of the country that make it a bit easier for us to be wisely compliant with social distancing guidelines. Nevertheless, I am proud of how well I see us doing and grateful to be a part our collective sense of social responsibility.

I'd like to highly recommend seeing Tom Hanks in the movie about the life and work of Fred Rogers "A Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood". The healing messages so powerfully depicted in this movie remind us of the powerful, practical and healing value of loving ourselves just the way we are and extending that love to the rest of our follow beings. Truly an uplifting and healing experience. Treat yourself!
