Summer often looks carefree from the outside—but for many moms, it can bring an entirely new set of responsibilities.

Between camps, childcare, meals, activities, appointments, and trying to keep everyone entertained, the mental load doesn't disappear when school lets out. In many ways, it grows.

If you're feeling more overwhelmed than relaxed this summer, you're not alone. Give yourself permission to let go of perfection, ask for help when you need it, and remember that taking care of yourself is an important part of taking care of your family.

World Breastfeeding Week is an opportunity to recognize that every feeding journey is unique.

While breastfeeding can be a meaningful experience for many families, it can also come with challenges, uncertainty, and emotional ups and downs. No matter what your journey looks like, you deserve support, compassion, and care—not comparison or judgment.

If taking a break makes you feel guilty, you're not alone.

Many people struggle with the belief that their worth is tied to how much they do for others. Over time, that mindset can make rest feel uncomfortable and boundaries feel selfish.

The truth is, taking care of yourself isn't something you have to earn. Your needs matter, too.

Therapy can help you challenge these patterns, set healthier boundaries, and make space for your own well-being without guilt.

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the unique challenges many individuals from minority communities face when it comes to mental health and accessing care.

Stigma, cultural expectations, lack of resources, and feeling misunderstood can all make it harder to reach out for support—but no one should have to navigate those challenges alone.

Mental health matters in every community. This month, we encourage open conversations, greater awareness, and support for those who may be struggling.

Many women carry an invisible workload that often goes unnoticed.

Managing schedules.
Remembering appointments.
Coordinating family responsibilities.
Planning ahead for everyone else's needs while trying to keep up with their own.

This is often referred to as the mental load, and over time it can contribute to stress, anxiety, irritability, emotional exhaustion, and burnout.

Because this burden is largely invisible, many women assume they simply need to work harder or become more organized.

In reality, chronic overwhelm is often a sign that support, boundaries, and self-care have been pushed aside for too long.

At WCWCW, we help women better understand the factors contributing to stress and burnout while developing practical strategies to improve emotional well-being, establish healthier boundaries, and create more sustainable ways of coping.

You do not have to carry everything alone.
