📣 Big win for GI practices! UnitedHealthcare's GI endoscopy notification program will end Oct. 1.

Thanks to our public advocacy and collaboration with UHC:

✅ Prior authorization requirements are eliminated for GI codes that make up ~50% of GI billing volume.
✅ Advance notification no longer applies to GI endoscopy.

These victories were made possible after years of ongoing engagement with UHC, which culminated in measurable change for GI patients and clinicians.
