There’s a reason Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can work so quickly. It follows a specific formula that helps the brain and body process painful memories differently: imaginal exposure, bilateral eye movements, cognitive restructuring, and positization.

Many clients experience relief in just 1–5 sessions, without having to retell every detail over and over.

You keep the knowledge of what happened. The emotional and physical charge can finally shift.

If you’ve felt stuck in trauma, anxiety, grief, or old patterns, ART may be worth exploring. 💜 Send me a message or visit the link in my bio to learn more.

You don’t have to erase the memory to stop feeling trapped in it.

In this episode of theworldstightestcommunity , I talk with Mathilde about how Accelerated Resolution Therapy helps the brain and body update old trauma responses, so the past stops sounding the alarm in the present.

In ART, we say: Keep the knowledge, lose the pain.
Thank you, Mathilde, for creating such an important space for conversations around pelvic pain, painful s*x, vaginismus, vulvodynia, trauma, and healing.

S*x is whatever you want it to be.

In my conversation with Leslie Maloney on , I talked about why it’s so important, especially as we age, to expand our definition of s*x.

Bodies change. Pen*ses, vulvas, and vaginas don’t always work the same way they used to.

And if we don’t make room for different ways of having s*x and being s*xual, we’re going to be pretty miserable.

Thank you, Leslie, for having me on for this conversation.

You can love each other and still feel stuck.

Same fight. Same shutdown. Same “we’ll talk about it later” that never really gets talked about.

Couples therapy helps you slow the pattern down, understand what’s happening underneath it, and learn how to repair instead of repeat.

Hard conversations can become less threatening when you have the tools to move through them together.

The facts of what happened don’t magically disappear. You still know what happened. You still remember the experience.

But your relationship to the memory can change.

That is the power of Accelerated Resolution Therapy. It can help your brain and body process the pain, sadness, anger, fear, or trauma that may still feel stuck, without requiring you to retell every detail over and over again.

So many clients come to me after years of talk therapy saying, “I understand why I feel this way, but I still feel this way.”

ART is designed to help with that exact stuck place.

If you’re ready for a different way to heal, send me a DM or visit the link in bio to learn more.

Big news: Alicia is now a Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner, which means every clinician at Brooke Bralove Psychotherapy is now trained in ART.

And that matters.

ART is one of the ways we help clients move through trauma, anxiety, painful memories, and body-based distress without having to talk through every detail or relive the whole story.

Alicia brings such a thoughtful, somatic, trauma-informed lens to her work with clients, and we’re so excited she can now offer ART as another path for healing.

For neurodivergent clients with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or sensory differences, therapy can sometimes feel like too much talking, too much explaining, and too much reliving.

That’s why Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can feel different: it isn’t about changing who you are, but helping your brain and body process what you’ve had to carry.

It offers a more structured, body-aware process that doesn’t require you to explain every detail or relive the whole story, which can be especially helpful when anxiety, shame, stress, and overwhelm have built up from years of masking or feeling misunderstood.

If talk therapy has felt exhausting, ART may be worth exploring. DM me or visit the link in bio to learn more.

This , we remember those who did not come home, and we hold deep respect for the veterans who carry their memories, their stories, and sometimes the guilt of surviving.

For many veterans, the impact of service does not end when they return. PTSD, survivor’s guilt, nightmares, intrusive memories, and the weight of what they lived through can stay stored in the body for years.

But healing is possible.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy, or ART, can help the brain reprocess traumatic images and sensations without requiring you to relive every detail out loud. Research with veterans and service members has shown significant reductions in PTSD symptoms in a brief treatment period, with some people experiencing relief in as few as 1–5 sessions.

To every veteran carrying pain that others cannot see: you are not broken, and you do not have to keep carrying it alone.

And to the people who love veterans: please share this with someone who may need to know there is another way forward.
