Serving Assisted living and Memory Care needs in Montgomery County, Maryland We decided to have small homes so that our programs could be very individualized.

We just don't believe you can provide good dementia care in a large anonymous situation where a resident sees many new faces of staff and residents every day. Being small gives us great opportunity: It's our goal to know everything we can about a resident, what scares them, what makes them happy, what they have spent the last 75 years doing. We know that the person we see before us does not always

convey the richness of a life and to truly care for someone, we want to know their story and how to bring the highest quality of life into their everyday existence. The world gets pretty small when someone has dementia--we want to make that world a happy place because each and every resident deserves as much joy in their lives as possible.

We are excited to introduce our new Activity Coordinator, Evelyn.

Evelyn is an amazing musician and a loving and caring person. She brings a wonderful sense of positivity and warmth that you can feel as soon as you meet her.

We are looking forward to all the new and exciting programs she will bring to our Cedar Creek homes. We are so happy to have you on the team, Evelyn!

“The Early Bird Catches the Worm” was only one of MANY bird related phrases, sayings and songs that we came up with at Cedar Glen!

We are lucky to have some beautiful birds that visit our feeders and even an owl in our backyard.🦉 And of course some big bird enthusiasts!

We had fun talking all things birds and love our front row seat to the bird show out our window.

Congratulations to our dear Anna Bropleh who has retired from Cedar Glen after 24 years of dedicated service!

Her kind heart and unwavering commitment have touched the lives of many residents, families, and coworkers.

Anna will be greatly missed, and we are incredibly grateful for the many years she devoted to Cedar Creek. We wish her a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement. 💝
