If you’ve recently had a rhinoplasty, you may have been instructed to tape your nose as part of your recovery. But why does taping matter?

Taping can help provide gentle compression to the healing tissues, minimize postoperative swelling, and help the skin and soft tissue settle around the new nasal structure. It can be especially helpful at night, when swelling may be more noticeable.

In this video, we’re showing you how to properly tape your nose step-by-step. Save this for your post-op recovery and always follow your surgeon’s specific instructions for when and how long to tape.
