Anniversary of dad’s passing is today. This picture makes me smile. My dad and my husband had an amazing relationship. They loved each other so much. Seeing my husband also miss my dad today reminds me… my dad really was the best guy. People all around me who arent even his own kids miss him almost as hard as I do. That is a blessed feeling though tinged with sadness. My dad, Bassem. No one like him. Gone far too soon. Love to anyone going through the ebbs and flows of grief… you are not alone. And, neither am I.
