What an incredible weekend. 💙

Thank you to everyone who supported The Glucose Guys at the 15th Annual SLAMT1D Summer Classic. Not only did we reach our fundraising goal…we exceeded it! We truly couldn’t have done that without you.

A huge thank you to Pump House Diabetes Crew for partnering with us, and to our friends and family who made the trip and helped make my guy’s first SLAMT1D experience one we’ll never forget.

Jeff Kolak says that when someone is diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, they’re robbed of fun that day.

Thank you, SLAM T1D, for giving some of that fun back…and for showing my boy and so many others living with T1D what fun can look like again.

We captured a LOT this weekend, and we’re already hard at work bringing our documentary about this incredible event to life. I can’t wait to share this incredible story with all of you.

I'm incredibly honored that Glucose Guy has been nominated for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in the Solo Storyteller category.

Glucose Guy was born after my son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. What started as a way to navigate our family's new reality has become something much bigger than I ever imagined.

This community has taught me just as much as I've hopefully shared with all of you.

I'm also honored to have received a second Mid-Atlantic Emmy nomination for Program Host for Wellness 101 Show, making this an unforgettable year.

Thank you to Mid-Atlantic Emmy Chapter for this incredible recognition.

And thank you. Every question, every conversation, every story you've shared, and every word of encouragement has helped make Glucose Guy what it is today.

This nomination is a celebration of this community as much as it is of the work itself.

We're just getting started. ❤️

Two weeks from today, our team will take the field for the 15th Annual SLAMT1D Summer Classic.

When I started Glucose Guy, my goal was simple: help make Type 1 diabetes a little less overwhelming for families like ours.

One of the organizations that has inspired me throughout this journey is SLAM T1D . They don't just fund research for tomorrow—they help families today through scholarships, camps, educational programs, and other resources that make living with Type 1 diabetes a little easier.

Thanks to so many generous people, we've already reached our original fundraising goal...and I couldn't be more grateful.

But every additional dollar helps another family.

I wanted to share this video because it explains why this mission has become so personal to me. If you've been thinking about supporting our team, there's still time before tournament weekend.

🏖️ Can you ever really relax on vacation when your child has Type 1 Diabetes?

We just got back from a week at the beach, and while everyone else was relaxing...my brain was busy thinking about blood sugars, infusion sets, and all the "what ifs."

This week's episode isn't really about vacation.

It's about The Unknown...the part of Type 1 Diabetes every caregiver knows all too well.

Thankfully, my wife reminded me of something simple...

"You know what to do."
