Regenerative medicine is evolving — and precision matters. 🩸

One of the biggest misconceptions in PRP and regenerative therapies is that all platelet treatments are the same. They are not.

The quantity of platelets and regenerative cells delivered can dramatically impact outcomes. With newer technology, we are now able to better analyze and extract billions of platelets with higher precision and consistency.

Be cautious of treatments using very small blood draws. In order to isolate a meaningful concentration of platelets and regenerative cells, larger volume blood collection is often necessary to achieve optimal cellular yield.

More science. More precision. Better healing potential.

The future of regenerative medicine is not just doing PRP — it’s understanding the biology behind it.

Strong moms build strong foundations. 💪🌸

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women who carry so much — and remind them to take care of themselves too.

Strength training is one of the most powerful tools for long-term spine health, pain prevention, mobility, balance, and overall wellness. Building strength helps support the core and spine, reduce injury risk, improve posture, and keep you doing what you love most.

At Shah Spine & Pain, we believe feeling strong is part of living well.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms who inspire strength every day. 💕✨

Honored to moderate and speak at the inaugural World Institute of Regenerative Medicine in San Francisco.

Regenerative medicine is rapidly shaping the future of interventional pain management, longevity medicine, and aesthetics . As medicine evolves, the focus is shifting beyond simply treating pain toward restoring function, improving recovery, optimizing performance, and helping patients live healthier, longer lives.

Excited to be part of the conversations driving the future of spine care, longevity, and regenerative therapies.

National Doctors’ Day 🤍

Being a physician is more than medicine—
it’s listening, guiding, and standing by our patients through their most vulnerable moments.

At Shah Spine & Pain, we are honored every day to help restore comfort, function, and hope.

To our patients—thank you for trusting us.
To our team—and all physicians—thank you for leading with compassion and purpose.

It’s not just about treating pain. It’s about caring for people.

Clinic + procedure day at Shah Spine & Pain 🧠💉

Some days I walk into the room to see a patient and pause for a second…
not because of the case—but because I’m counting heads 😅

Medical students ✔️
PA students ✔️

…and I’m like, okay, who am I quizzing first? 👀😂

Because on a full day of new patients + procedures, this is where real learning happens:

✔️ How to evaluate pain from the first visit
✔️ How to build a differential (not everything is a disc!)
✔️ How to correlate imaging with actual symptoms
✔️ Why we choose one intervention over another
✔️ And just as important—when not to treat

In pain medicine, it’s not about memorizing steps—
it’s about clinical reasoning, anatomy in real time, and decision-making under pressure.

So yes… the room might feel a little crowded 😅
But every patient is a teaching moment—and every question matters.

And don’t worry… I’ll definitely be calling on you 👀

✨ Exploring new technology for anxiety & pain relief ✨

One of the most important parts of being a physician is continuously learning and evaluating new technologies that may help our patients feel better.

This weekend I had the opportunity to try EMVITAL, a therapy designed to help reduce pain and improve healing using advanced laser technology, along with EXOMIND, which focuses on mental wellness and brain health.

Before bringing any new treatment into our practice, it’s important to experience it firsthand, review the science, and understand what truly works — and what doesn’t.

Medicine is constantly evolving, and staying current helps us provide the best care possible for our patients.

Always learning.
Always improving.
Always putting patients first.
