We are on Week 3 of National Safety Month and we're focusing on Promoting Holistic Worker Health. Here are 4 ways you can practice holistic safety on the line and in the field:
1. Warm Up to Work: Start the shift with dynamic stretches to prime your muscles and prevent strains.
2. Beat Mental Fatigue: Stay sharp by taking scheduled breaks to reset, hydrate, and clear your mind.
3. Check Your Teammates: Look out for signs of burnout or distraction in your crew. A quick “You doing alright?” can save a life.
4. Speak Up Without Fear: Foster a workplace where asking for help, reporting a hazard, or taking a breather is always respected.
